  • me too!! im in ...trying to make 100 per month on ebay for 6 months to offer as a final settlement !
Hoping to be debt free 2011:beer:
  • I'd love to join in but ebay does my head in as it takes so long to list stuff. I've been giving it away on freecycla just to clear out junk lol. I might be able to force myself to list one item a day if I was being chivvied along on here though!

I'd like to join in too please :)
I had joined another old one, but just going to drop that, as too unrealistic for me!
I'm not hoping for as much as you guys - my aim is to make £200 by the end of March to help pay for my holiday :D

I'm really bad for putting off listing, as I do have a load of things that could go on, but I'm going to try and be really good and put some on tomorrow :)

  • I am rubbish at listing, have boxes in the loft and a blanket box in the conservatory of all stuff to sell and never do it!

I wonder if I could manage one item a day, trouble is all the differrent end days would mean constant trips to the post office. hmmmm.

What do you reckon to X items a week?

I will aim for 3 this week.

What about you Doodledo? and everyone else?

    hiya,

i just wanted to add, i have sold loads of bits n bobs on ebay over last few years. but i recently started selling old cd's, book's and dvd's on amazon, and as awful as i feel saying this, its much easier, and if ti doesnt sell, there is no fee!! i made £37 in last week!! all being squirreled away for bills mind!

  • I would like to join in too if thats okay, I just sold a load of stuff but every time I turn a corner there seems to be more! I am getting more than I thought I would for the stuff I'm selling though - that is a good motivation AND I managed to get my OH to sell some of his old "toys" (remote control cars and stuff) and they are ending tomorrow - already past £100!!!, anyway I would like to list one item a day, i am planning to use the money for all clothes/shoes etc we will need through the year (not necessarily buying off ebay cause it's a bit hit and miss for clothes). I've been selling on ebay for a few years and I find it a great distraction from spending money, even when i don't make much it is worth doing. So I'm starting tomorrow with an xbox game, what are you lot starting with?

  • Pebbles, I was thinking of selling my books on Amazon (I have over 400 books!) I know its terrible, should have used the library, I have already sold some of the better selling authors (Cecilia Ahern etc) on Ebay as they tend to sell but do you think I could use Amazon for the rest?? Do I not pay fees if they don't sell?, and that just made me remember my OH has a bunch of UNI books from last term (he goes part time) to sell, ah bliss.

    hiya

well it is my first time of using them, but from my experience you only pay fees if the book sells, they charge the buyer a fee for posting, but you get a payment fo rthis also. its a bit strange to explain, but when yo go on, you only need to add the isdn number, and it does everything else.

i would suggest having a look, as i would hate to give you wrong advice, but as i say i have used ebay for yonks, and i am loving amazon!!! HTH

I'll join too. Need some motivation to list loads of things that are lying around.

Think a monthly target is probably best to give time for auctions to end, payment received etc. What do you think?

Or what about a target of, list one thing every day?

Count me in please. I have loads that I could list but never seem to get around to it. I like the idea of list one thing a day though, I am sure that once i get going I could do it. Just need a push.
