Wow, everyone's doing so fabulously, well done you moneymaking marvels! :j
I have been a slack alice today and haven't done a thing - well, I've been after a new mobile phone for ages (if you knew me in real life you'd realise what a bizarre statement that is!) so I've spent all day browsing.
I only do PAYG (because a tenner lasts me forever), I can only be on O2 as there's no signal for anything else here, and I only have Nokias because I can't be bothered learning my way around a new system. I usually just adopt OH's old work phones as mine live a life in darkness at the bottom of my handbag, only seeing the light of day for occasional charging & to be battered by children, so no point spending big bucks.
Anyway, I've been all round the houses, briefly flirted with all manner of flashness, set my heart on a purple Nokia (because it was purple!), OH threw a spanner in the works at one point when he started suggesting I just get an iPhone - and in the end... I bought a new battery and purple fascia each for the two 'dead' Nokias I dug out of the kitchen drawer to trade in, and a car charger too, and spent the sum total of £16.19 instead (and yes, I went through Quidco...:rotfl:)
I do absolutely love how one area of moneysaving runs into another - to think earlier today I was honestly thinking about spending 50/60/70/80/90/100 quid on a phone (there was a *lot* of internal dialogue - I haven't bought a new phone since the summer of 2002!) - although I suppose a dyed in the wool moneysaver would have just rekitted one phone & traded the other in! :A
Anyway, back to the listing for me again tomorrow - OH is away for a few days so I can get everything out all over the lounge and not have anyone complaining about the chaos!
Keep up the inspiring work guys! :T:T:T0 -

Today I am going to list two boxes of things on Amazon and Play! I am determined.
But what a procrastinator I am. I saved up Amazon vouchers to order a 1TB hard drive, and it arrives today. The boxes are in the shed. I don't want to leave the house because the moment I do, the hard drive will turn up! So whilst I wait I am parcelling some items up
Took a friend with me to the Post Office yesterday, and she is keen to start selling online now! Another convert!I like to make money

Hi
Home from work today cos of snow, so going to list some stuff on Greenmet and/or Amazon.
Anyone know if it's ok to list the same things on both? I'm assuming it is as long as I take it off one or other list when (if!) it sells. Does anyone else do this?

Morning all!
Another nice little £40 into my bank account yesterday.... wish it wasn't all disappearing back out towards the bills though!
I needs about £250 towards my spending money for my holiday at the end of March, so if I make my target of £500 that means half can go on bills, as long as I save the other half!
Hopefully going to take a few more pictures today, as I find when the pictures are already there, it's much easier to find the willpower to list the items! :rotfl:LBM - 1/12/08 - Debt £13250
