  • Nellis10 - I would try Amazon first as it is quick to list and you can set the price yourself and it will tell you before listing how much you will actually get.

I've sold over 30 DVD's, books and CD's in the last week.

    Good luck, hope they sell!

Thanks Lindsey...just listed all 11 on Amazon at the same price as they showed the "New" ones in the marketplace...mind you you do get buttons out of it...but at least you know your final amount upfront!

Galls me how little you actually make back on things you sell sometimes. But c'est la vie...I would be looking for bargains too if I was buying so I can't expect someone to pay top dollar for an item I am listing (although it would be nice! :rotfl: )

  • Keep in mind you need to pay your postage out of that money so don't price too low or you'll be out of pocket, have a look on ebay and see if ones recently sold of the same films have gone at a decent price, may be worth paying the listing fee there if you think they will sell.

Sold another CD this afternoon and got a snotty message from one buyer about the whereabouts of their DVD - they only ordered it 2 days ago! lol quote]

I got a snotty e-mail today too about where their item was! I can't post on a Sunday love and especially when you hadn't paid since late last night and won 4 days ago

Sold one of my mum's hand-crocheted blankets on there last night too for just over £3 which she was happy with but I just think of all that effort that went into it. Sometimes prices don't do things justice do they? Just like those new DVDs you found nellis

Come on Nellis! you can do this! break it down - do 20 minutes of listing then stop for an hour, then do another 20 minutes and think of the pennies that you'll make and how it will clear your debt faster!

  • Totally agree novagirl I like making the extra cash but some buyers are a nightmare!

Nellis - Keep going you can do it! Keep putting mine off too but just think of the extra few quid in your pocket and when its done its done so easy to relist if you have to - good luck!

Up to £86 now out of my £500 target so must get into listing ASAP...
