Anyone up for an Ebay/Amazon challenge?

Gosh - you're all doing so well.
I sold an item on ebay that cost £200 a year ago and yet I only got £1.04 plus postage (the listing was checked and double-checked for accuracy and was in the correct listing slot etc.) Anyway, it was all profit so guess I shouldn't be greedy
A book finished on ebay yesterday with no buyer - no watchers either and the same is happening with the other book I've put on there that finishes on Wednesday night. Think I'll give up on ebay as I've only got books to sell.
I've sold 5 books on Amazon in January and made £30 profit, so that's good.
I've put books on Green Metropolis (very easy and cannot believe I haven't used them before), but no sales since there are about 600 other people selling the same books (similar story on Amazon).
It will be interesting to see what books I can sell in February. I've just listed a first edition (1936) book and really hope that sells for a good price.
Good luck everyone!0 -
Right I've done my pictures for the ebay stuff just got to go through the pain of actually listing them now!
Anyone know of a good place to sell gold and diamonds? (No I'm not joking but got a 9ct Diamond necklace and earrings to sell as I am never going to wear them)Sealed Pot Challenge #623, Boots points = 619Current Debts: £62K:A0 -
so how did everyone get on with listing today.....
I managed 6 items on play and on my 4th ebay item lol so not too great for me! Although one of my BIN items just sold and has been paid for woo!0 -
Hi All
Well, a disappointing first week on ebay. I'd only managed to get three items listed, of which only one has sold, and that for only £1.25 + postage. I guess it's better than nothing, and at least it's an item moved out of the house!
Will update my signature once I know what the postage is.
Onward and upward, eh?!

14 on Amazon so far for me today, 3 sales through and another 11 discs rescued from scratched oblivion and buffed back to shiny sellable goodness for listing before bed, so that'll be 25 for me today (but might take a day off tomorrow as I've got arm-ache now!)
I've finally broken the 200 hundred barrier so I'm a fifth of the way to my target now - only another 800 to go...:rotfl:
So in the two weeks since I started I have listed 222 books/CDs, sold 25 of them & regained control of £89.78 - would love to think I could keep up the momentum and be finished listing by the end of March but I think I might try and pace myself a bit now for the sake of my sanity!
Well done everyone, we're all doing brilliantly - and it really helps to read how busy everyone is with the challenge. :T:T:T
Now, someone shout at me to get my tape-measure out tomorrow and get my wraps photographed & listed...0 -

Just checked my listings this morning (22 of them) and up to £110 already:j Still another 4 days to go:T However, I am seriously running out of things to Ebay - I cleared my wardrobe out yesterday and have another 6 items to list later this week.
Have a good week everybody.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
My first week has made me £87.14! Quite happy with that really.
Play seem to refund my fee once I say I've dispatched something. Anyone know anything about that?
I've got two boxes of things to put on Play and Amazon this week, which I might do later today! I love Amazon and Play, because there is no photographing, and no relisting until 60 days/90 days. Nice and simple!
I've got so many things to parcel, and so many parcels done already! Phew.
Edit: I am also going to have a Play/Amazon aim of listing 100 items at each place.I like to make money
