I know this has happened to a couple of people on here when placing the orders for 75% off sale so I thought i'd ask to see if this has happened to anyone else!
I ordered a toy (Vtech sit and stand tree) it stayed at 50% off when I put the order through even though everything else was 75%. Just called them and they said they'd refund it to my card. But i've just checked and they've only refunded £4.50 instead of £10?!
Am I missing something or should they have refunded £10?! It was £40 to start with. I'm thinking it's because I used the £5 off voucher... but even if they refunded the right amount I would have still been over the threshold?

Did the Vtech sit and stand tree definitely go to 75% off? Its just that other Bootsers have mentioned on these threads that a lot of the toys stayed at 50% off, even when the 75% off sale started.

CAn I ask for some advice on nappies?

I was looking for different nappies my 2 year old LO decided it would be fun to copy daddy on the weekend and we have had 8 wees in the toilet hee hee hee so sad that i get so excited

In any case thought i might need some pull ups now. Boots ones are on offer any idea if they are any good?

Should I get the little walkers ones which are some where between a nappy and pants or should i go for the pull up which are like pants and are thin?

or should i go for the reusable ones from boots?
I did use reusable nappies quite a bit

    decisions decisions decisions

my experience is that paying more per nappy isn't really worth it as the type of nappies your talking about usually cost more
i found it easier to leave my lot in underwear or loose clothes while i was at home and normal nappies if i was going out (although if i was just popping out i would take the risk).i did find when i used the pull ups they either ripped when being pulled up or down ,or leaked
now your little one has been extremley clever you will probably find the mishaps will get fewer and to be honest i would take the chance and who cares if you have the odd pair of pants to wash.
at the end of the day each child is different and your little one MAY prefer to have the security of something that feels like a nappy, in which it is a case of finding what he is more comfortable in. :D

can anyone tell me if all items with the old '3 for 2' green labels on are now 75% off in boots?

I recently asked an SA if the baby stuff with said label on was in the sale and he said that it wasn't.

    Seems wrong?

It seems that some items are back at full price, even though they were gifts and had the green gift sticker on them. Others here have reported that toys which had the gift sticker on them are back to full price now instore.
  • Umberto Giannini Spa Rituals Brightening Plus Hair Elixis
Last week someone posted that these were included in the 2 x £6 on .com but in store they aren't. I stood my ground (thanks to the confidence in reading this post) showed the SA who tried to convince me it was classed as a gift set - i calmly explained no where does it say it is a gift set and therefore the 2 x £6 was very misleading as it did not excude what i class as a conditioner. After seeing the Team Manager - very nice lady told the SA to put it through at the advertised price - £13.xx in my pocket. Thank you girlies.
Well Done secretsmilegirl. In my Boots it does say on the offer tag -"does not include Spa Rituals Britening Plus hair elixis" I ordered some online though;)

That was sort of what I was trying to figure out myself! When I payed for it my order summary showed the 75% off underneath it but the price stayed at 50%, but I know it happened with quite a few toys so I didn't know if they were supposed to go to 75% or not.
  • any recomendations for a decent mascara and under eye lightner?
i have both in the no 7 but its hit and miss as to whether i come out in an allergy to them..sometimes i do...sometimes i dont!
sadly i have so many from glitches i keep on using them but think i may need a change now as my under eyes get itchy, dry and red which counteracts the effect:eek:

id like a false lash effect mascara and something similar to the no7 under eye concealer brush on thingie:o
    thanks ladies
The Maxfactor false lash effect mascara is fantastic! I used to spend £20+ on premium barnd mascara but this is just the best I have ever tried! I think its £10.99.
  • thanks for the relpies and crazyposhgirl who has kindly offered me a mascara to try, she is an:A

im not normally allergic just no 7 and the time delay:eek: , its the stuff they lure us in with on glitches.
i tryed the time delay sample for under eyes before and i came out in mega scabs under my eyes...i was due to be a bridesmaid as well:eek:
also the lovely metalic blue under eye liquid thing they were selling before xmas last year, it looks lovely but unfortunately caused a bad reaction.

i like the under eye radience pen but ive been using no 7 mascara and if it gets on my skin my eyes start to puff up so gonna have to start onto different ranges.
will treat myself to the touch eclat, im very pale so its more a case of blue shadows really that i have due to lack of sun/sleep and having 5 kids probably!

is it cheaper at the airort do you think or online, im going away this week so wondering whether it may be worth getting in duty free:confused:

    thank you all..wonderfull ladies
