I still can't get access to my basket- keeps bringing up 'generic error code'.

Tried adding some items to basket to see if I could get in that way, but it tells me that they can't add it to my basket because one or more of the items currently in my basket are out of stock (I had filled my basket before the 75% sale)

Any ideas? I can't even get in to delete the stuff in my basket.

    TIA xxx

CS told me a generic error can be a problem at their end or yours. See my post above yours for one possible solution.

I think they are just having massive problems at their end - hence the hault on the sale and problems some of us are experiencing. I expect their IT staff are working overtime!
There's a skinny woman inside me screaming to be let out. A cookie soon shuts her up!!! :rotfl:

    Hi all,

Just been to the DEWSBURY store, they have ALL the NO 7 SUNCARE stuff on clearance now. Items are between £2.50 and £6. Great for using your BLUES. However, the same items were twice as cheap in the LEEDS ALBION STREET store last week, so if they still have any left, best to use them there if you are going that way.

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.

    Mimi,

Hope your dad is doing well!

I just phoned cs about my problem and she couldn't find a fault with my account. She deactivated and reactivated my account and also asked what server I'm using? Then I realised that I use Firefox and some websites have a problem with this so I tried again in Internet Explorer and it works fine.

Ah-ha! good thinking Batman! I use FF too- will try under IE just now to see what happens...... BRB

Hi there. Does anyone know if it's possible to order something online, to be delivered in store and then pay for it instore? I've got my eye on the shiatsu massage chair from the webpage. I have enough points to pay for it, so I thought I'd treat myself, but I'd need to pay instore...

I have just received my sale delivery (sorry for those that had all the problems :( ) and as I also bought some of the items in the 50% sale in case they didnt go to 75%, I have a few of the 50% things I will be returning to store tomorrow. I thought I would see if there was anything I am returning that anyone on the thread is desperate for before I return them.

I am returning the Spa Ultimate Experience Set £24.48, the S&G Make it Big Bag £14.68, the S&G Grab Bag £8.81, & the Trevor Sorbie Duffle Active Kit Bag £7.34. Pm me if they are any good to you & I will weigh them to see roughly how much postage would be. If not I will return them tomorrow.

Hi, dont know if you have tried this but it worked for me.
    1. Clear your cookies
    2. go to bootc.com but dont log in and add something to your basket
    3. then try and log into your account.
    4. if you can get ino your account then go to your basket and delete any dodgy (oos) items.

This worked for me, although I cant get rid of the roary race track and gremlins keep changing the number of race tracks in my basket, but it has allowed me to get into my basket.
Every now and again I get the generic error again. I clear my cookies and then log in and is ok again for a while.
now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it :o
