I wouldn't sell any of my extras on ebay, i've given them all to friends and family free of charge! On the start day of the 75% sale I picked up extras especially for my mum and dad but I didn't go crazy like some that seem to have wiped the places out and are now trying to sell it for a higher price online!!! St Tropez set for £20 on ebay!

I was lucky to have a relatively hidden boots beside my work that I could get to easily, i'm so annoyed at the fact some of you couldn't get to the shops on that day/morning to pick up what you wanted and the website couldn't handle the pressure and cancelled your orders!! Its just not fair.

I don't know if they need to start taking orders by phone, make a queuing system on their website or only allow people to put 5 things in their basket at a time but something needs to be done!

    Sorry, rant now over! :D

I had a funny feeling that the 75% sale would be like this, this year, so rather than gamble I bought everything I wanted/needed (Liplicious sets are a NEED I tell you :D) either with points before Christmas, or at 50% after (all but the P&P set, but as explained previously I only wanted the serum and little pots so not too bothered) As it was, NONE of the stuff I bought before previously turned up in the 75% sale bar two of the Natural Collection sets I bought...had I bought any of it at 75% I would be sitting on it (literally) and not be sticking it on eBay (I mean sell Liplicious sets on? Sacrilege   )

Talking of Natural Collection, Mr BTVB picked up a second lip smacker purse with two lip glosses in on Wednesday (at 75% of course ;)) Miss Broclo, could you use these glosses in a couple of your baskets? Let me know if you can (by sending your addy by PM) and I'll stick them in the post on Monday (or rather, I'll send Mr BTVB to post them :D)

I didn't see any shelf sweeping going on at Bristol Cribbs either, all were well behaved there. If I had seen it going on I would have said something along the lines of 'you greedy b**ch, give someone else a chance'!!!!
  • Only purchased items I knew DD would like and some few bits for family & friends... saw quite a few ppl with trolleys full of stuff but thought they were doing the same as me... have not checked Ebay but find ppl sell and flog if there's demand for these items too...

Also with the hype on B's sale starting/ not starting it just took too many ppl @ stores and unfortunately one finds not all cmrs are considerate of each other... I wonder how much will be rtnd at stores as I would have thought some ppl have purchased items and possibly will change their minds on? Let's hope so!

is that the one holding the balls???

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it might be! I just remember seeing a sea of santas in a crate and on the shelf - and not much else:rolleyes:

I agree - I was in 2 Boots early Wednesday morning, and while in both the sales section was busy, it wasn't a scrum, and everyone was polite enough. I did see a fair few women in the bigger store with those double baskets, full to the brim and overflowing, but then again, it did look like they were buying the bulky items, like the white vanity cases, and the big black No7 boxes. There didn't appear to be any shelf-sweeping going on though.

Oh, I had a double basket and it was certainly overflowing but I only had one duplicate item in it! These double baskets don't hold that much. I spent £55 on my lot. (And it was all for me and my immediate family.)

I also should say, that the first Boots I went to on sale day opened at 8am, I was there for 8.30am, and it was an absolute pleasure to be in the store at that time - even with the sale on, the store (outside the sale area) was dead, and the SA's had no queues at all. I took my basket upstairs (I was looking for Bratz make-up sets I'd seen earlier in the week, but there was no sign of them by Wednesday) and was served by a lovely SA there. It was almost like having the store to myself :T .

I also did 2 SS till shops at the same store about an hour later, and even then, the SS tills and the manned tills beside them had no queues.

If theres another 75% off sale next year this time, I'll definitely be taking the day off work and going again.

:rotfl: you tell 'em Angie100:D seriously, I didn't see anyone snatching and grabbing in luton either. Everyone was on their best behaviour from what I witnessed.

I wonder how many ebayers are selling S&G grab bags. I didn't see any reduced to 75% off anywhere! I can't even find it on dotcom. anymore:confused: has anyone got the product code? so I can save it to my favourites, just incase they are in the sale when (if) it goes ahead:D

I hope someone has returned a No7 liplicious set and a No7 travel collection to the metro centre tomorrow. So that i can then take it back of Mr B's hands. I need a little cheering up after my day.

I have learnt my lesson, i too will buy what i need in the 50% sale if its something of limited stock rather than risk waiting and missing out. Alhough knowing my luck i will buy at full price or 50% and then there will be loads in the 75% sale.

Hahah - is it this one you want Sally 10078425-I have it in my favs but the description is S & G travel essentials. I don't think you will be able to add it but worth a try!! I think there are grab Bags on ebay and people have taken the stuff out and sold it all bit by bit!
