Orpington Boots has quite a bit of No7 clearance stock I got some bits today . can make a quick tomorrow if you want

Quick question because I am confused, (no change there then!).

There is info on vouchers available from one of the Boots mailings on page 1. Is that still the Winter one? Or have people received a new one for spring, valid for 2009 yet?

I've just sorted my handbag out and thrown my Winter mailing away as the vouchers were out of date, (and also found loads I'd forgotten to use, doh!) but I don't seem to have a new one here. Have they not been sent out yet or have I just mislaid mine along with my memory and my sanity?

I was really disappointed with the Boots Christmas stock this year. The only thing I wanted was a Dinner with the Mob set, which I bought with points before Christmas. I haven't even been tempted by what little I've seen left at 75% off, which hasn't been much to be honest. I have a lot of Advantage points burning a hole in my card wallet and there's nothing I want! (Well, nothing at Boots, anyway).

Its not dreaming, its hallucinating!! We're all going slowly mad whilst Mr B sits there, watching our frustrated ramblings & laughing!

Seriously, though, wouldn't it be fab if all this stock IS in stock & then they take 90% off!! :rotfl: Oh, I'm seeing men in white coats approaching.......!! Arrrgh, why are the walls padded.........!!

that would be amazing and would get rid of all their stock very quickly! (well site would crash again). Its so odd, that so much back in stock - whys it been oos all day? Does anyone else think it will come back on? Or thats it?

I rang up about 20 past 6 tonight. And they said call back tomorrow and it would be working. But other posters have rang up and they have said the sale is not coming back on so i dont know. Alls we can do is sit and wait. Or call CS in the morning

I placed an order and finally managed to check out at 12.40pm this afternoon. The sale prices were still showing as I added things to the basket but weren't showing in the basket. I checked out anyway and rang CS tonight about 6.45pm. The woman told me that the sale was not coming back on and they would not honour the 75% off on my order. :mad: I explained that after I had ordered, the sale prices were still showing on the site. I asked to speak to the manager but no-one was available and they will email me tomorrow. Did anyone else experience this and did they have any better luck getting the discount from CS?

well I guess no one knows! I just want to get an offer in, i tried last week - tried today and still was unable too. Now everything I want is in stock, I want to order it and be done with the stupid boots site

I don't think there is a definitive answer, sorry!! One person posted on here that they had spoken to CS who had stated there would be no further sales online, but the message on the sale update is the same as previously & states they are looking into it.

And after all the mis-information from Head Office over when the sale would go live (between 7am & 7pm, after advertising it first, etc) we know we can't beleive anything we're told!

Its just going to be another waiting game, unless the message on .com changes!
