It didn't help having to make a big beef stew (took meat out of freezer earlier in the week and it had to be cooked) and it looked lush, carrots, potatos, dumplings, leeks, peppers, peas, tomatoes, swede, onions etc etc and just put it front of the kids-DD tried it and DS wouldnt even do that. *sigh* so now they are sitting on settee eating jam sarnies. It frustrates me but I can only keep cooking and letting them try...at least DH will have some nice things cooked for him when he gets home.

    sammy drools......:o

  • Well, the stew was GORGEOUS. In my defense, it is a very healthy stew-low fat etc etc (ok, minus the dumplings) and full of veg (8 differnt veg in my last count!) and I wouldnt have worried...it was the crisps...and the 2 biscuits....and hotdog...and bacon...DAMN.

And I wholeheartily agree Bookie-work days are much easier! I hate being at home and cooking for the kids is so HARD!

I really don't know Spud-don't THINK it's that Scott has gone away-used to that tbh, but I am feeling insecure about certain things right now-perhaps that is it...(ie STALKER from BC!)

Malaga:rotfl: DD1 has had to cancel her holiday to Egypt because of her pregnancy, and its her boyfriends 21st and my OH's birthday so we said we would all go to a friends villa in Spain as a treat. then boyfriend and OH could go and play golf together and us girls could sit round a pool and chill......

Its £673 for flights for six people six bags and 2 sets of golf clubs....
