**Weekend Chat Thread**

Nobody has started it so Ive had my brave pills and done it myself. This weekend I shall be mostly avoiding unpacking all the boxes and of course try and get the Sky + box fixed; this is the priority. Keep it clean on here today and will catch up with you all later. Have a nice day, wherever you are and whatever you are doing. :D Len x

I've just seen hubby off to the Newcastle away game so have the house to myself (with dogs) tonight! Currently waiting for a British Gas engineer to come and fix the central heating boiler... anytime between 8 and 1.... what's the betting it'll be 1
Going to spend the day sorting through old paperwork and generally reorganising stuff :D

  • Morning all. I am not enjoying my new mute status but it is a lesson in patience if nothing else, I can't shout down the stairs to OH or even from the living room to kitchen etc and even whispering hurts so I am choosing my words a lot more carefully.

Just poor DS :( he just bought me a book to read to him but I can't :( just frantically pointing and mouthing the words 'whale' 'dolphin' etc (it is a book about the sea!) so I think we are going to play cars instead...

I have to drive OH a bit of a distance today to sit a health and safety test (don't ask...) so I will get some more motorway practice in :T my mum is going to sit for Elliot so at least he can enjoy a bit of 2-way communication while I'm gone!

Lazy here Sammy! Well, still not well but at least I've made it out of bed to the sofa today. Getting quite fed up with having no energy! Oh and I really badly want some old fashioned Lucozade in the glass bottle, none of that sports drink nonsense!
Anyway, hope you all have a lovely Saturday x
