Morning, I've just been whispered at by MIL, she is poorly, so I'm taking her to the doctors. Daphne....are you my MIL :D

Well I had to do it, popped out to shop and got some Lucozade, but you're right Fermi, it doesn't taste the same. I'm sure they've taken half the sugar out, it definitely used to be more syrupy. Still quite nice though!

I've done the first chunk of housework, there's shedloads to do but I'm doing it in baby steps and rewarding myself by coming on here in between!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
  • hangover, having nap, afternap shall walk round to get paper and some lucozade. I loved that stuff when I was kid, bed on the settee being "ill" and having a day off school! Loved it.

My sister swears by lucozade for hangovers. I drank a big bottle after a night out, and then worried I was going manic because I couldn't sleep. It took me ages to connect the two.

  • Morning - it's quiet on here today.
My Mum used to give me lucozade (glass botle with lovely rustly orange paper) and chicken noodle soup when I was ill. Not in the same bowl!

    Afternoon Everyone.

Followed the thread yesterday but was feeling a bit fed up so didn't post, you know when you feel peed off but are not sure why

Been for a walk 2 1/2 miles, so feel all healthy now - not :rotfl:

Going to sort through 2008 household accounts (that sounds organised, get me), you know the sort stuff you keep 'cos you might need it but never actually do anything with

Just received a book order in the post, used to belong to this book club ages & they sent me a letter to tempt me back, offering me 6 books from as little as 1p each (sorry Bookie)
