thats an easy one to answer..
it's my perogative to spend 20 minutes on the phone to somebody i can barely understand asking me to do things that'd i've told them i've already done, at the cost of 50p a minute. Or tell them to sling it.

One whole hour I spent on the phone to India trying to get a part replaced on a computer. I knew which part had blown (experience), but for the life of me do you think I could get the stupid @rsehole at the other end to deviate from the script? They almost implied I weren't trying their recomendations as I told them I'd already done that part of the fault finding! Swao this, swap that, try this, try that. Well a capacitor laying in pieces in a PSU tends to give the game away, but would they listen, would they f...

Then don't get me started at trying to spell my entire name, email address, postal address. 10-15 minutes that took alone. Three sodding times as they barely spoke a word of English coupled with a poor quality phone line!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

GET SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS AND SPEAKS ENGLISH IN CALL CENTRES! And an IQ above 50 would help too.

    I will second that!
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Use a decent ISP, one that has proper UK based technical support, one that has a freephone number for support, one that doesn't stitch you in to a long contract, there are quite a few good ISP's that will sort this in no time.

    Pay nuts, get monkeys.

Fair play. Makes me wonder if your routers slowing down or something though, as my 10 meg is ALWAYS 10 meg!
