Do you know if it counts if it's the first review in ENGLISH? I've reviewed several places in Cambodia and France for which mine was the first English review, but there were some in French. I got 20 points for it so I'm assuming it counts as a first?

I did it the day they sent me the email. I did the amazon challenge which was easy. This was a bit harder. I live in a wisbech where pretty much no one has reviewed places so that made it easier. And I come from south africa, which helped even more coz i could review shops from there too. Took me from 6pm to midnite lol.

I haven't received an email saying I'm halfway yet, and I definitely am. Bit disconcerting. I'm definitely signed up to the Virgin challenge as I got the email from them...

There's a delay with the emails. I was worried, like you, but my email arrived within about an hour of me reaching half way.

I am still not halfway yet...I didn't do the Amazon one and iwsh I had, but I'm looking forward to completing this challenge. I am using the same username on there so feel free to add me. I also use the same name on DooYoo so look out for me there too.

I got my halfway email within a couple of hours of reaching half way. I say that, but I'm not 100% certain I'm counting right, as some of the reviews I've initially thought were first reviews may not have been - I wrote a couple more reviews after I'd got to halfway by my calculation...so I'm not entirely certain where I am.

By my count, as of right now (Highbury and Islington station being the last review) I'm at 29 - that's counting each first review as 1 and each non first review as 1/2.
