Laugh you may all of you bankers, but I am the only person on this whole page that will not be waking up in the morning having to face going to work in a bank, after spending most of Sunday afternoon talking shop on here.:rotfl: :rotfl:

Keep them queues short..
Except most of us really, genuinely enjoy working for banks - even those of us who have to put up with customers like you.
I love my bank. I met my partner there, they gave me my house, a lot of my friends are bankers or bank customers. I am well compensated for my time and receive more than ample holiday, and they were the most understanding people in the world and let me take 2 weeks off in 2006 on compassionate leave, with full pay and not a word said about it. Hell, I even got a discount on my new bathroom because the guy who did it remembered me sorting out a power of attorney issue in my old, old branch - four years ago.
Sorry, Inactive, but I can genuinely say that I wake up every Monday a very happy boy.

Nice post. You have been good to your bank and your bank has been good to you.0 -

Couldn't agree more. Does anyone know if you have to open a business account for annual turnover of £5k or can you use an ordinary account?0

Regardless of annual turnover, a bank will usually state on their accounts t&c's that the account should be used for personal (ie non-business) use only.0 -
I enjoy my job too. Must do otherwise I wouldn't have offered to give up my Saturday morning to see customers that wanted to see me.
Putting my feet up this afternoon to make up for it whilst our share price slides through the floor
