I have this item. I think its awesome, it lets you record programs direct to ur hard drive. Recording can be set for the same day or every day etc etc.
The ariel supplied is a bit poo if you live in a low frequency area as i do. So i hooked it up to the main house ariel and the pictures are perfect.
I would recomend this item.Watch out, you never know who is about.0 -
Do you have to leave your computer on or does it turn it on when time to record a programme??0

Does anyone know the performance of this item?
Would be nice to attach it to my 650mhz laptop with 256mb RAM rather than dragging my 14" portable between the bedroom and office each day!0 -
Providing your laptop is running XP, it should function.
However, as with all freeview signals, you will need a decent aerial; the 6 inch twig supplied will only work in areas with exceptional signal strength & quality."Now to trolling as a concept. .... I have a TV port in the office so that shouldn't be a issue.
I think I'll risk it for £400 -
