  • I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have/win/earn (don't mind which!) £100 million or euros...

I would pm Martin 1st for financial advice :rotfl:

Then I would (if I'm completely honest) frantically write down all of the things I wanted for myself, then my other half & child.
We'd be so giddy on money it would take us a while to dare to leave the house :p
Then family, then charity, then who knows...

It will give me great pleasure when all those banks are queueing up for my £100million, I will say "Mr. Barclay's remember back in 1972 when I wanted a £50 (yes £50) loan to buy my first car, a Ford Anglia, you said No, because I didn't have any collateral except for my life assurance policy which my mum saved her pennies for...........well sod off"

"Mr. Midlands (remember them), I went £5 overdrawn in 1980 and you wanted to close my account.....well sod off"

    I can go on.

I will donate a substantial sum to a debt help charity, CAB also (needed them in the past).

I was going to say something similar to MATEY.

I would go into HSBC let them swoon all over me have them hanging on for hours while they run round after me sorting paperwork after paperwork out then when it comes to the signing iwould say "ive changed my mind i don'tthink i want to bank with you after all"

After that i would give each of my relatives money, i would buy a nice house with a indoor pool and a big garden for the kiddies to run around in with a playground in it.

I would have a Annex at the end of the garden for visiting relatives.

I would also make sure the house has lots or bedroom and would adopt a few kiddies to show them what love is and to give them a helping hand in life.

A holiday home in Lanzarote and give money to those who need it most. We got help through the CAB so i would ask to pay some of their other clients debts off.
  • £100m is a lot of money but it would buy a nice lifestyle but these days it would not buy you a hyper rich lifestyle

    Stange but truw

A house in Monaco, one in central London, one in new york, perhaps a masion in Spain and a large Yacht, a handful of cars

And that is most of it spent

    See that was easy :rotfl:

Just as well that the odds on the draw are so awful

i already have my ticket for tonight......

if i won, apart from the obvious pay of everything.

I would give £100000 to my local football team, to spend how they want , with the only proviso , that i could have a couple of season tickets for life.

world cruise for me and the missus

    replace my old banger

give some to each of my family (and wifes)

    and pack in my job.........

but it wouldnt change me ........ :P (much...... :D)
smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to.... ;)

Ooooh, what a fun thread - but as others have said - it would be more of a headache than being in debt and would take the fun out of aspiring to do/buy X, Y, Z - because you could have it all in an instant. However, this is what I would do:

    * Pay off my parents mortgage (they bought the house for £20K or something stupid, but still have a mortgage?!!!!) - and give them money to buy somewhere new/so they can retire early/pay off their debts.

    * Help out my auntie who retires in a few years, living in rented accommodation, no pension & debts - she is on her own too. I feel so sorry for her, but not sure what I can do to help!!

    * Give brother & sister money, but probably when they are old enough to appreciate it & not blow it, perhaps in the form of property.

    * Help nan out, buy her the bungalow in the village she wants to live in. She might like a new watering can too :0)

    * Definately help people on this board, those who have shown willing - and have already learnt their lesson. No point paying off someone's debts who hasnt learnt anything and will just keep repeating history (sorry if that sounds harsh!!).

    * Go travelling the world as planned, but see ALL of it.

    * Definately donate money to a few charities, perhaps buy a few properties.

    I think that's all.

    xx

First I'd search the world for any medical advance that would help my sister - she was brain damaged in a road accident, is paralysed and can't talk properly - If I could find a solution for her I'd pay anything.

I'd set-up a family trust so everyone I love would benefit, but wouldn't have the worry of tax demands etc.

I'd donate a years running costs to our local hospice, who were so wonderful when my Mum was dying of cancer.

Sadly - I'd tell Cancer Research UK to take a running jump, they wrote asking for a donation and suggested they should be written into my Mums will one week after we contacted them for leaflets about terminal cancer - their insensitivity still makes me so angry that I can't yet forgive them.

And me and OH - we'd travel, at leisure, going to all the places we'd said we'd like to, and back to others we'd enjoyed. No flash cars or big houses, just us and hopefully our health. :j

    I've been Money Tipped!
I'd be so scared to let anyone know if I'd won it!

Kids'd HAVE to go to boarding school or have tutors in because of the threat of kidnap.

    Daily sackfuls of begging letters.

I mean you'd get over £12,000 per day just in interest!!!

Too much for one person but the good news is that it won't be allowed to rollover past Feb 8th so it gets split up with the next tier down -i.e 5 numbers and 1 star. So even if 100 people got that they'd still be 1 mill better off :T

If I win I'm going to spend two million on prostitutes, fast cars and take aways.
    I would squander the rest.

    Tee Hee...

Well I thought it was funny ,I would really help as many as I could while making as much money as possible to continue helping others.I'd fund a mission for the Dali Lama to return to Tibet so he could be on Tibetan soil before he dies.
