hi
i just wanted to make sure that you have all purchased your euromillions lottery ticket this Friday. How would you spend £100 million??
I have decided that if I win and win say £10 mill or more I am going to allocate about 10% to people who make me smile everyday on MSE and the debt free wanabee forum.
Please also keep bingbong in mind if you win a similar amount lol!!
So people - how could we spend £100 million?
I'll start by saying I will drive upto the bank ( in my rolls ) get out and go in to pay off my debt, mortgage etc... and I think I will also ask to take my house deeds with me there and then!!
Remember - someone has to win it........think lucky.

I wouldn't want a hundred million, think it would make me feel sick. I imagine with that much money there would be no fun in life anymore. If you could have anything at all, whenever you wanted, where is the challenge in anything? Sometimes it's nice to save up for the things our hearts desire. We saved for several years to get our dream, that's why it is so special to my hubby and I. If we had just won all that money, it wouldn't mean so much to us.
I would just like enough to pay my mortgage off. That would be nice. Too high a win seems to breed unhappiness if you look at some previous winners of the lottery.~What you send out comes back to thee thricefold!~~0 -
Totally agree, I wouldn't know what to do with that much. And to not have to work for anything or have the satisfaction of saving up for it would take away one's appreciation of things.
BUT, it would be really nice to come into some money and know that it was yours to give to whichever person/cause/charity you wanted, to feel that you had that power to really change something through, say, a charity. I like to think it would give me the chance to keep enough to live comfortably and be able to do the work I desire and help the people and causes I really wish I could now.
It would take so much control and strength not to blow it all on rubbish though!Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003Proud to have become debt free... and striving to keep it that way

A five figure sum would suit me down to the ground, any more would change my life too much. I don't think I would like to loose the people that live arround me.
They say money will not make you happy but having said that I don't see any big winners giving the money back. It's nice to dream.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -
I would buy a nice new watering can....

i think i'd finish my degree at uni... or at least try to! and then pursue hobbies and stuff...
Part of me knows that if I had £100million, my life would have no real direction, being propelled from being in debt to a millionaire... and not just any millionaire, a 100 millionaire. lol!!
I'd like to invest and become a big fat cat, I know it's sad but i'd love to own a big stake in my fave footy team, and take them into the Premiership! :j
I don't know how i'd handle all the attention to be honest, but then again there's plenty of millionaires that can hack it....
Oh how many nights i've dreamed of winning the lottery.... but i think most on here are right, a five figure some would be plenty big enough, any amount enough to help me buy a house and give me a bit of a jump start i would love.0 -
I tell you what... I'll buy a £1.50 ticket - if I win the £100million, I'll pay up to £5 million pounds worth of peoples debts from this board.... ok, deal? I really shouldn't miss it :POnly Irish coffee provides in a single glass all four essential food groups: alcohol, caffeine, sugar, and fat.

To put it in perspective, if you had £100 in your pocket would you miss a fiver? If I were to win any amount of money(Hope springs eternal), other than being debt free, I certainly hope my life wouldn't change as I quite like it the way it is.I'm back after a break :money:0 -
wont be buying a ticket. TBH although "someone" has to win...dont think its gonna be me, so i will keep my money and use it for something useful instead!November NSD's - 70
