help - flatshare with a psycho

I've been sharing a flat with a guy who has been showing some extremely bizarre behaviour. For example he turns the heating off or turns it right down so that myself and the other flatmate are freezing in the morning then denies it, puts his washing in with mine and nicks my cutlery.
In addition I went away at Christmas and came back to find my leather jacket had been slashed! The door was locked but it's easily opened with a screwdriver and he'd seen me do this before when I'd locked myself out. He denies doing it but there is no other explanation, I remember wearing the jacket and it definitely had no rip. Although someone had actually jumped me the last time I wore the jacket it was at the other side and he just punched my head, there was no contact with that side of the jacket whatsoever. Also it couldn't have been tears as there are two deep cuts, one nowhere near a hem.
I've told the landlord and also my other flatmate, who agrees his behaviour generally has been very strange anyway. I should also add that the guy has Aspergers Syndrome, not wanting to stigmatise other sufferers but he is very socially awkward and I wonder if this is his way of releasing frustration.
What should I do? Is it worth calling the police? My health is being affected as I feel stressed out at work now to the point I can hardly do my job.

>I should also add that the guy has Aspergers Syndrome,<
I'd be very worried. Most serial killers have Aspergers Syndrome. He obviously likes playing with knives...0 -
Personally, I think it's the OP that has a psycho screw loose, not his poor, nervous, long-suffering flatmate.0
-
Sounds like a serial moneysaver more than anything, trying to save on heating and water bills?0

I don't get his fixation on the guy being an aspie. Since when were aspies violent? It's like saying that sheep are prone to eating people. (No offence intended PN, I just think sheep are about the least-threatening animal out there!).0

Maybe the OP has a personality disorder which means they have to post the same question twice because the answers the first time round didn't state what they wanted to hear.I'm not cynical I'm realistic
(If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)0 -
I'll kill you for saying that.... then I'll send my sheep round to eat you. I moved to Wales waiting for just your sort you know! All these handy sheep to cover my tracks.I don't get his fixation on the guy being an aspie. Since when were aspies violent? It's like saying that sheep are prone to eating people.
