I know H2B would love it - but the set I got doesn't have a suspender belt. I've just found the reverie set on the Gossard website which looks nice - I don't know what to do!!!!!!
Thats really pretty, I was told when I was trying on dresses at the first shop to avoid any underwear with any detail as it may show through but im going to ring the shop im now buying from to check with them, have u been recommended anything from where your buying dress from?0 -

When I bought my dress, she recommended that I didn't go with a basque as my top is a corset and I'd be stood and sat like a soldier all day lol. She said it would be ok with detail as my corset has about 3 layers of fabric and embroidery so any detail on the underwear wouldn't show through.
If I had some nice underwear on I know H2B would love it as I'm normally in v boring underwear!! I figure that I could wear the underwear that he wants for one day of my life. After that it will be back to the good old granny knickers :rotfl:0 -
lol:rotfl: , Im the same always choose comfy dependable underwear lol, so it will be nice to get something nice, I was thinking a body then a corset type on the top might be a bit much for me, oooo what to get might ring them to get some advice this week0

But at least now, you can take them with you when you go dress shopping so that you can see how they all go together :T
Good luck on the dress shopping - do you know what kind of dress you're looking for?
Yeah, I think I have already picked the dress but want to try on a few different styles to make sure. I love corsets so prob something with a corset top.0 -
Sammy_Girl wrote: »Also got the Moss Bros brochure with the different styles - my latest issue of Brides magazine has a 25% discount of their wedding suits :j
Does the voucher have a minimum spend or a date it has to be used by at all we were going to get 5 adult suits and a kids suit, we looked into moss bros but this would def sway it0 -
hope you had fun dress shopping today:j
I had so much fun last night, Got home about 10pm but it was worth it.
Had a nightmare getting there as the sat nav took us to a different place so we were 30mins late  lol. I tried on about 8 dresses and we had 2 bottles of champagne and loads of canapes and strawberries. Was worth paying to have the place to ourselves and the staff their were amazing.
After I tried on the 8 dresses I went back to the 1st one and tried it on with my shoes and veil and burst into tears!!!! lol. But it also just so happens to be the most expensive one I tried on  I was trying ones on and the lady was like oh this is only £495 and this one if £595 so when i put the other one on and said it was 'the one' I asked how much and she said it was £1095
but it is very similar to the one I already liked so at least I know thats what I want and £175 is a much better price0 -
AUGUST 15th BRIDES.................wait for it............................................
170 DAYS TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGH!
Well I booked my honeymoon suite last night (it's actually one of the bridal suits at my venue but the room has recently been refurbished and is absolutely gorgeous and much bigger and nicer than the honeymoon suites - plus is has a built in jacuzzi bath in the room! Fancy!)
I am going to sort out my flowers on Saturday and am also going to order and pay in full for my mens suits on Sat too.
Then I need to try and find some nice bits to make a start on my invitations. Am also going to start looking for some wedding underwear. There is a shop near me which is a gorgeous lingerie store which has unfortunately gone bust so they have got everything on sale really cheap - going to have a look!
Things are coming along nicely although at the minute I am conscious that all I seem to be talking about is the wedding and am even boring myself but I am a worrier!!! ha ha!Finally decided to start growing up when it comes to money!:j
