At Least the new runway will create jobs!!!!

the building work is only a small bit, we are supposed to be heading to upto 3 million people being unemployed if this can create 160,000 jobs, it got to be done.
Its not jobs that are going it professions, and some of these are not coming back, so these jobs that are being created will hopefully be filled by people who have been thrown on the scrap heap, due to everything being made overseas.I am not a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as not being a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. But that's what happens already!!
The conservatives could promise flying cars and free ponies for all. The stupid voters would have them in come election time and the cons would say only kidding.
What are you going to do to them to stop them from lying? Hold them to account and boot them out in five years time. What kind of threat is that?
Do you think the average UK voter can rememebr five years back, or barely what they had for breakfast?
At least with The Monster Raving Loony Party you knew they were taking the p1ss up front !0 -

wonder how many jobs will be lost because of the project?
some villages will be lost, schools will be closed, the staff will lose their jobs, local businesses will close, people consequently will lose their jobs, many people will have to relocate elsewhere and start from scratch. the compensation people usually get wont be enough to cover their losses plus since they will lose the jobs they already have in the local economy and have to relocate elsewhere in the present market where people are finding it difficult not to get laid off, whatr chance do the people who get laid off have of getting an equal paying job. most likely they will have to compromise and take a lesser paying job to make ends meet. hope they get a good compensation atleast, i wouldnt want to be in their shoes to have the rug pulled out under my feet and have my whole familys life in disarray at one stroke.
heathrow is already so congested, the approach roads are congested, sometimes have had to literally crawl on the motorways in stop go stop go traffic and been delayed hours just getting to the airport. finding a parking spot is a nightmare, even had to drop my father in law on the road recently as was stuck for hours in traffic and then couldnt find a parking spot and he had to leg it lugging all his baggage while i was stuck outside the short stay parking lot. took a few hours to get to london and took longer to get into heathrow airport due to the traffic congestion. wonder how adding more traffic will add to the mess that already exists there. would have been better developing the other airports instead of trying to concentrate everything at heathrow.bubblesmoney :hello:0 -
how many houses will be demolished? what kind of payout will they recieve. what if they refuse to move??0
-
schools close everywhere all the time, children still have to go to school and these children will still need teachers to teach them.
People usually do get enough money to be re housed and they usually have a bit on top, it will only effect 700 properties, so its not as many as what jobs are going to be created even if you have 4 people living in each property.
Its a small village that will be effected
compulsory purchase order, with the way the housing market is they will probably get more than they would if they were selling through a estate agent.

the town going to disapear is called sipson. wouldnt be a gd idea to buy a property there that will be demolished then get a higher payout for what the property is worth?
thats if you can afford to buy the property and keep your own home0 -

With the way house sales are going i might get a low loader and dismantill my house and rebuild it there, i think thats the only way im going to get rid of it.

STRONGLY OPPOSED !!!!!... We are a small island, the days where we could compete with the rest of the world has gone, the sooner we admit that fact the sooner we can compete with the smaller countries where we should be, not going around the world preeching and policing.
We don't have the land mass to keep on expanding, did'nt they say they were NOT going to build a new runway when they got permission for terminal 5?????.... You cant have it both ways, their enviromental policies are a joke , you can't have it all.
Oh and when the f*ck is the Dartfod crossing going to be free??? You know, like they promised it would be once it was paid for.........:eek:0
