Keep on posting on here - perhaps someone has the job of searching this forum to see what is acceptable to the "proles" before voting on such hypocrisy.
(We are heading towards that French woman who gave her dentist a senior job at the European commission.)
Good old joke needing uprating for the current EU:-

Gordon Brown was a Journalist and a College Lecturer.
Alastair Darling was a solicitor
Jack Straw was a Barrister
Jaqui Smith was a teacher
Alan Johnson was a Postman
John Hutton was a University Lecture
Peter Mandleson was a TV producer
Douglas Alexander was a Solicitor
Hazel Blears was a solicitor
Geoff Hoon was a university lecturer and a Barrister
Ed Balls was a Journalist
James Purnell was a BBC Planning Manager
Shaun Woodward was a TV Producer
Yvette Cooper was a Journalist
Paul Murphy was a College Lecturer
Not a single one of them has ever had a proper job. Apparently....0 -

What makes them so different that they would stay in a posh hotel when on business, yet I'd have to do an 18 hour travelling day to save my boss £50-70 on a Travelodge room?
How come they get to eat great food (frequently) on expenses, when your average business pays £20/day if you're staying away for a whole day and overnight?
They should operate on similar rules to normal businesses.
Simple reason is that none of these f@ckers have ever had a job out in the real world where they are accountable to someone for the actions they take.
This is why they treat the electorate with utter contempt.0 -

So they've all been employed as Spin Doctors, apart from a Teacher (cheap daycare), a Postman and a College Lecturer.
No wonder they have no ethics...0 -

Sorry how many are you counting as "all"? Thats most of the cabinet I have just listed - and if I added the Leader of the Lords that would be yet another one. Its the *minority* that are career politicians, not the majority.
Any teachers want to respond to their slagging off?0 -
Get me in power and I'd seize all the second homes any non-retired MPs have been given (without compensation), and sell them. With the proceeds I'd build a hall of residence where MPs present and future could have a bed for the night and a shower for the morning for when they need to come to London.
I'd also make their expenses policy correlate with the rest of the country's, charge them duty on alcohol, and ban them from "employing" family members to up their income.
And sack Harriet Harman..0 -

I was counting all the MPs you kindly listed.Rochdale_Pioneers wrote: »Any teachers want to respond to their slagging off?
With the current class sizes, many (incl teachers) would agree.
Smaller class sizes and more empowerment are required to improve standards.0
