I started collecting the tokens for that but then realised that it didn't cover the main summer school holiday which is when we typically take our summer holiday.

The offer stopped the same week the kids break up and schools don't take kindly to parents taking their children out of school during term time. The rest of the time it covers I have no problem with as I can just borrow my parents van for a few days (usually with them there).

Must admit I am sorely tempted to go back to our old holiday time of the first two weeks of July, you can get 2 weeks for less than the price of one week in the school holidays, even with paying a fine, it still works out damned cheaper!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
  • Have been in the market for some new 'everyday' plates and bowls for some time, as our current set has been depleted by breakages and teenagers hiding the rest in their rooms. But what the hell I bought British, hang the expense.

Driving home I came to the conclusion that we are all inherently lazy, and that is wjat the supermarkets base their (sucessful) model on, and as such it is no longer a case of what we the consumer want, but what they, the supermarkets deem we should have
