    I did request one they said I needed a letter from my doctor who is away for a few weeks. So another doctor wrote one and its a complete mokery she put, she feels . . . she says . . . and makes out its all in my head. Not unless its me being paranoid

    But surely with mental health issues this is all the doctor can say? Not as if it is like a broken leg or something where there is. physical evidence

    I read on another thread some ppl were being asked to count backwards, calculate how much change you should be given and memorise 3 things the doctor has pointed to in the room. Is this correct? It sounds very strange if they do ask this

    No that is not part of the PCA medical.

    Emweaver it's no wonder your terrified I've just been reading some of your previous posts and your not exactly confined to your house are you lol! (trying to get a home appointment because your frightened of going out!)

    That's ususally part of the test for Alzheimers -My gran had to do these when we were getting her diagnosed

    Couldn't agree more. Cost us 3 adults and 1 small child over £1000 for 3 days at Disney so it ain't cheap either.

    Last year I had to remember a sequence of numbers and also do some mental arithmetic.
    I believe it may have been something to do with concentration. But I'm not sure.
