  • I've just had mine today and I dont think it went very well either. It was nothing like the one last year. I man was Asian which made it a bit hard to understand at times. Also he just seemed very uninterested.
He asked me what a tipical day was like, then before I had time to answer he fired 3 more questions at me. 'What time do you get up?' What time do you go to bed?' and can you do housework?'
Very strange interveiw indeed. I will be astonished if I get passed.
    :(

Does anyone know how long it usually takes to hear from them? I cant remember ever having to wait to find out if Ive passed or not and I just keep worrying and getting myself upset!

Mine was as quick as yours too and I remember been shocked, however it was nothing to worry about. I heard I had passed within around 2-3 weeks I think.

Most people usually get a decision within 3 or 4 weeks but it can take longer sometimes.

  • Last year I waited just over a week.
  • Hi i had mine a few weeks ago....the asian guy i had wasreally nice i was in quuite a state and he kept saying "take ya time" do i want a drink of water etc....

I suffer with panic attacks n anxiety cant go tout on my own etc.... So was in a state when i arrived. I also suffer with back problems but these aint stopping me working but cant do heavy lifting as off for 7 weeks at atime if i do it in.

To be honest im not fussed whether it goes against me or what!! Ive had nothing but trouble since i claimed and filled in piles of forms. First bcos i came off IS onto IB my daughters free school meals didnt go through :( Now i got a letter off council saying i owe them £83 overpayment on council benifit and £58 on CT :( Because ive come off IS.

Now i know people who claime IS and IB and still recieve CT and CB. So im now having a reduction of £13 a week off my HB and cant remember off CT just cos imnot on IS so alot worse off then i was on IS :( Just because i worked and not sat on me !!!! rearing children as a single mother!! i would be happy earing them still working if it wasnt for my state of mind at mo .
