hi we scrapped our car last weekend, an S reg nissan almera, the tax and mot had run out, and we had cancelled the insurance on it because we had got a new car. the scrapyard paid us £70 to take it away, crap but better than paying them.

what could have been so wrong with this almera? i would have gave you £100 for it if you were near me,without even seeing it.

Just to explain. My self and wife have already got a car each.

I bought the metro to use for a few weeks when wife unfortunately managed to wreck her car and then found out we didnt have hire car cover with insurance.

So, its no good to me, I just want to sell it !!!

Ah well this is different, you never said this in the original post

WEll if you have cars already, just put this one on ebay and sell it for whatever you get

Or look up vehicle breakers in the phone book and see what they want to do with it

Well my comment was based on you keeping the car for another year, at this point it didnt know it was an unwanted car
