I disagree, they know who is more eager to sell and it is their job to try and create sales for their customers.

Otherwise they would be called "door openers".

If a house is priced to sell then I doubt if the Esate Agents need to generate interest in it.

Sounds like you'd be better off at property auctions looking at repossessions etc.

Cash buyer? Perhaps the EA thought you were winding them up, so were waiting for you to get in touch again to show if you were serious or not?

Why not just look on rightmove and see if there's anything you want to view, then phone again?

Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Because there is is loads on right move, too many.

I just want to know about the properties where the vendor is "highly motivated".

It is no good me going looking at a property because if the vendor refuses to do a deal I will not be buying it. Wasting everybodies time in the process.

I am not particularly bothered where or what it is as long as it fulfils a broad criteria. A house is a house.

They are probably too busy trying to sell houses to people who have shown more desire, urgency and commitment to buy and so able to secure higher prices for their customers (the vendors) than you clearly are portraying to us in this thread ... and so presumably you have portrayed the same desire to just kick a few bricks to the EAs.

This not only gives their customers the service they are paying for, but allows the EAs to earn more money by providing that service.

A few months ago I chatted to an agent who had spent an entire weekend on the phone. He'd received offers on four properties he was marketing, but they were very low offers. He spent all weekend trying to get sellers and buyers to come to an agreement but none of them tied up.

Maybe they think your offers will be seriously low, and they'll only call you for places with any chance of your offer being accepted. There's a huge difference between the number of properties on Rightmove and the number where sellers would consider extremely low offers.
