Things do manage to upset us all, depending on how we are feeling.

I've had AE's come on to challenge things I've said, but I was able to answer them rather than get upset. The one time I was really upset was when a poster was saying horrible stuff about my children.

How long does each seizure episode last for? Can you recognise when a seizure is coming on?

((pipkin)) hope you are feeling better soon

    Thank you :)

I genuinely hope you feel better soon, too.

How are things today? Is your husband at home with you? Do you manage better when your OH is at home?

It's just hard to take when you are in a delicate state anyway and you are accused of things that just aren't true and regulars join in. Anyway I am moving on (Well trying to :o) Thats really bad to say horrible things about your children, some people are just cruel.

My seizures usually last between 2 and 5 minutes then I am unconscious for half an hour to an hour. Once I am awake I am exhausted, confused and in pain, I have been told that one 2 minute seizure is the equivalent to running a marathon.
I used to recognise one coming but since my meds were changed I get no warning at all.

im absolutely knackered after yesterday, going to the docs and streetwise, hubby came to streetwise after work (took me to docs before work too) and everyone from streetwise went to the pub next door for a little bit. it takes a lot out of me being sociable! and also id been talking to a streetwise worker about whats been happening too so pretty emotional.

i cope a heck of a lot better when hubby is at home, he just makes me feel more secure and he stops me impulsively hurting myself

im in bed still, i know its really lazy :(

Still trying different ones, really hoping this new one will work. I have tried 3 others with no success.

Hi RBK, how are you feeling, better I hope.

I'm not so good today, my oldest and last remaining friend really upset me last night and to make it worse I don't think she even noticed. Me being as pathetic as I am didn't say anything to her.
New meds are ok, they seem to be controlling the big seizures a bit more but the smaller ones are getting worse.

I am so fed up with everything at the moment.

Hope everyone else is ok. x

If she didnt notice she probably didnt mean to upset you. perhaps it is not worth losing a friend over something that wasnt meant. have a chat with her and maybe tell her you were upset. it might just be you got the wrong end of the stick and can carry on being friends.
Who I am is not important. What I do is.
