Morning everyone
I had a good birthday yesterday. I got £60, some nice clothes and a new handbag. Going to spend my birthday money wisely and try to use it for things I want but can't afford.
My house is still lovely and clean. I'm trying to keep it this way as It's so lovely coming home to a clean and tidy house. I've got my 2 boxes of Ebay stuff to get through over the next few days/weeks.
Picking my car up at 10.30am on Thursday :j:j

Hi everyone
Time for an update!!
I got my car!! Very nice it is too. Very flash and a smooth drive. You just can't beat that new car smell. I was thinking of calling it Maggie as it's Hot Magenta and with the colour it definitely feels like a female car (I'm not mad - honest!!). Will post a picture on here at the weekend.
I did rubbish on AQA again this month  - why can't I get disciplined on that?? I really need a kick up the backside please next month. I will have to do better as my wages go down at the end of May so I will be £300 worse off.
On the other hand Avon is going ok this campaign. I have only got books back from the people that ordered last time so far and their orders total just under £110 alone. I've got about 70 books to collect on Saturday and then will be delivering to the remaining houses on Sunday, collecting on Tuesday.
I have abandoned the idea of saving Amazon vouchers for my mum's Christmas present (TV for her bedroom). They are quite cheap these days so my sister and I will just go half nearer the time. I could build up my Nectar points and get one from Argos so that it's cheaper for me. Will wait until nearer the time.
So with my Amazon vouchers from Bingoport, I have decided to have Thursdays (when they get sent through) as DVD day!! I want to build up my collection as I watch a lot of movies. So today, I ordered the X-Men boxset. I love superhero movies and have got a really bad thing for Hugh Jackman (well let's face it who hasn't?!). I figure this will be my little weekly treat.
I am also attempting a fattening diet. I want to get to 8 stone by the time I go to the hospital in 2 months time. I am currently 7.5 stone. Unfortunately fattening diets aren't good for the budget though. I'm going to have to stock up on special offers when I see them I think.
Anyway, going to eat a couple of choccie digestives before bed (washed down with milk) and then must get some sleep.

Maggie is getting lots of attention at work today.
I can't remember what my goals were for April.
Right, new ones for May and I must stick to them :
Do 100 questions a day on AQA - seriously need a kick up the backside on this one. The thought of £930 should spur me on I think. If I manage this then I would probably be able to get rid of my Barclaycard and give a bit back to my mum. I am actually doing some questions at work as it's quiet. Hoping to get at least 25 done before I go home.
That's my main goal for May as I'm pretty skint because of the car and also not doing well on AQA last month. I'm just going to throw myself into money making.
It's Money Making May!!

Hi everyone
Just to warn you all, I have a feeling this may be a long post!!
I have gone off the DFW rails. And the honest truth is that I am RUBBISH with money. I can't budget, I can't save and I just always feel the need to spend what I haven't got.
I thought I had my LBM a few years ago, but I really think I have had my real LBM today. The only way that I can truly sort my self out is to get the truth out there.
I bury my head in the sand all the time. I have missed a couple of council tax payments and I am just waiting for a letter now asking for a whole year's payments in one go. I am behind on my electric because they failed to take any money from me for the first 8 months I was living here and now it has all caught up with me (I'm not near the point of being cut off by the way, they recognise it is partly their fault as I gave my bank details to them 3 times just after I moved in).
I have some jewellery in a pawnbrokers as I was struggling to find my rent 1 month last year. It is a stupid interest rate and I have already renewed the loan once as I couldn't afford to pay it all back.
I had Sky TV (cancelled now!!) whilst all this was going on, not just the basic package either - movies too. I order a load of things from my mum's catalogues which I have to pay back now.
I have overpaid tax credits that I have to pay back and have avoided doing so for a while now. I am behind on my TV licence and need to pay a big whack on that now.
Worst of all, I am a month behind on my DMP because I haven't budgeted properly and was trying to keep on paying the large payment even though my wages have gone down. It also doesn't help that I am lazy and just don't seem to earn as much extra money as I could on AQA, mystery shopping etc etc.
Avon is another thing. I spend way to much on myself and sometimes it ends up costing me. It's on stuff I don't even need half the time!!
Wow, that is actually very good therapy. I feel like I have confessed all my sins.
I really need to sort myself out!! Feel free to comment on what I have written or tell me off as necessary. I know this is all my fault and I need to grow up and sort myself out once and for all.
My next post will be my plan of action, what I have come up with so far anyway.

Emily, Its so nice to see you back even if its not on celebrating terms. At least you have relised your failings and are back to change. We have all missed you0

Oh Emily .... go and put the kettle on, things can be fixed and you can see this as an opportunity rather than a failing
The sun is shining, it costs nothing to sit in it and makes us feel betterOkay, so a cup of tea and a bit of sun isn't gonna solve your problems but you are one determined lady who has proved time and again that you can do it, and you can do it again now
Yeah its gonna be tough, yeah its gonna be hard work and a challenge, but what fun would this board be without a challenge??
I'm having a "taking stick and setting new goals" night tonight, may even start my new diary tonight too :j, so stick around tonight and lets see if by bedtime we can get you feeling a bit more positive again
And now time for my honest feedback ..... you are incredibly motivated and hardworking, the only area I can suggest an improvement for you is to make sure you post everyday, its invaluable for keeping you on the right pathBig hugs hun x
