My hubby ordered yesterday too and got a confirmation email.
He phoned CS this morning to check the order and was told yes his order is fine and will be delivered monday.
Just recieved an email from Boots saying order cancelled due to technical difficulties! Has spent the last hour trying to get through to CS but can't get through to them.
As for my order, who knows....
I don't know if it's been despatched nor do Boots. Doubt I'll ever see it now but bet they see my money!
So if anyone asked for next day delivery and actually got their order let us all know.
I ordered yesterday afternoon (tried all night though) and paid for next day delivery. I have had confirmation and dispatch emails. I also have (via the dispatch email) the courier tracking numbers and I (apparently) have three parcels tracking okay.
So, whilst I haven't had my order delivered yet, it does appear to be on it's way.0 -
just rang customer service and was told nothing they can do dont order as will have too pay full price!!!!!!!! great customer service :mad:0

It just seems grossly unfair that they can ask for full payment and then expect people to wait for a refund, after all those people who may have £50 (for example) to spend in the sale, may not have £200 in the bank to cover the full price until the refund goes through, hence shopping in sales in the first place !!

My husband finally got to speak to cs and told that all orders from the sale have been cancelled. The sale has been cancelled until further notice and they do not know if, at all, the sale will come back on the website. If it does then it will be first come first serve basis.
I have not had any email to cancel my order nor a dispatched email, cs never phoned me back as they said they would. Will phone them again later but then again whats the point.
The whole thing is a shambles and I don't even think cs have a clue either.0 -
When i rang customer services they said that the sale will be back online ASAP. They dont know when but they apoligise. So we just have to sit back & wait. It is beyond a joke though.Proud mummy to 3 beautiful children who I love so so much :oxxxx

I'll let you know - I am sitting here eagerly awaiting a knock at the door. Last year in the Boots sale the Boots deliveries always seemed to arrive late evening (8pm onwards), so I am still hopeful. Also the three parcels have tracked and been logged in at the courier depot - and as they are a separate company I can't think they would log and track parcels that haven't been sent.
I agree that CS don't appear to have a clue though. DD made an order as well and got all the way through to putting the bank authorisation number in (screen pops up from the our bank for additional authorisation, but I know not everyone has to go through this extra screen). It appeared to take the number but never generated a 'Thank you for your order screen' and there is no mention of the order in her order history, so we assume that the order never went through - however the funds have been 'reserved' on her bank account, so part of the order process completed just not the rest of it.0
