My brand new Co-op account - already a blemish!

I set my account up with the Co-op and I told them what I was planning to do with it. I shall empty my account out when the time comes to go BR and then get them to unfreeze it afterwards as my pension goes in there.

I had something similar happen with my Cashminder account, water company tried to take to much for a DD and it was refused, I got charged but got charges back from water company who admitted liability. Same thing happened again the next month with the TV licensing and I got charged again, which put me overdrawn, and the lovely Co Op counted that as 3 strikes and closed my account! Even though I proved the DD's were not my fault they still counted them as a strike.I cant get an account at all now

I know i'm a hard working night shift worker, but i am entitled to a day off !:D
Having a few beers and relaxing
I'm glad you stood up to the Co-op and they backed down, and also that you never recieved one of those three dreaded strikes that the Co-op uses.0 -

I opened my Co-op cashminder up 3 weeks before my BR, told them i was only going to use it post BR, and they were cool about it.
Co-op was informed about my BR by the OR, and even contacted us to say that everything was fine and to continue to use the account as normal, it never froze at anytime whatsoever.0 -

Same here Costus,
A slight worry this morning - I have logged on to my account and neither the £15 goodwill gesture or the £2.20 returned d/d from Sat morning are showing on the account!
Does anyone know if the Co-op don't update transactions online at the weekend?
Don't tell me I have to get my angry head on again......
Good Morning everyone, BTW

Co-op online is very slow to update recent transactions and they don't show for a few days i've noticed.
Maybe wait until then before you give them hell.;)0 -

I am a Team Leader myself and I found out something very interesting today. Not all the Co-op calls are recorded - which I find absolutely amazing! Apparently only certain calls are taped and the operators can record their own calls if they feel it might be complicated or need to refer back to it. You can bet your bottom dollar that if "Mrs M" recorded our call, she deleted it straight afterwards!
I couldn't believe it - all our calls are recorded, how else can you check back on who said what and so on?
I still think they will act on my experience, he said one of the first things he was going to check was how long she had worked for them as it sounded like further training was neccessary!
SA
Haha you should've suggested that perhaps she was in need of a coaching plan or a couple of one to ones with her TM
.
I work for an enormous company, worldwide I mean absolutely massive (utilities) and it's only very very recently we started to record all calls. Before that the only calls that got recorded were random ones when a TM did some remote call monitoring haha!0
