Thats brilliant news. It really does go to show that if you fight for what is right they do listen. The call centres are usually a waste of time but writing or emailing is the best option and i now always complain when i have had bad service or i think something is wrong.

    Well done.

Glad to hear it all worked out SA! It's horrible dealing with people like that in call centres. I've worked in one for two years and yeah we all have bad days but you can't take that out on the customer.

After your call with the supervisor, it's likely the call will be listened too and the agent in question will have some tricky questions to answer!

I wouldn't call it being a scrooge they took the money out of your account without correct authority to do so. Why should they make money out of you like that?

Good that you stood up for yourself and got a positive result.

Well, I have to tell you this.......

I am a Team Leader myself and I found out something very interesting today. Not all the Co-op calls are recorded - which I find absolutely amazing! Apparently only certain calls are taped and the operators can record their own calls if they feel it might be complicated or need to refer back to it. You can bet your bottom dollar that if "Mrs M" recorded our call, she deleted it straight afterwards!
I couldn't believe it - all our calls are recorded, how else can you check back on who said what and so on?
I still think they will act on my experience, he said one of the first things he was going to check was how long she had worked for them as it sounded like further training was neccessary! ;)
