  • Good luck with getting your money back from Sky.

Sky did that to me a couple of years ago TWICE taking it on wrong dates. After I had paid by card, so lost that Co Op account PLUS Sky would'nt own up to it and said I had to allow 5 days either side of payment date!!!

    Wow, that's a blow..

I admit it's the second time they have done it to me - taken payment twice.... a pretty poor show!

    Have a good day

  • Hello,

Sorry to be rude, asking a question, I have just spoke to someone on the co-op help line, I asked if I was okay to set up an account ready for BR, he said no you will have to wait untill after, otherwise when the OR contacts us we will freeze the account as like any other bank and you will have to apply again. But I see you have, Im more confused that ever!!!!!!!!!!

    Hello hun,

You are not being rude at all...... Ring them back and ask to open a Cashminder account - we have all opened ours before BR, it is what they are for, for heavens sake. The guy you spoke to was wrong. The OR will ask for details of your bank accounts and ask if you have income paid into any of them. You tell him/her that it is the Co-op and they notify the bank to tell them to keep it open. I was declared BR last Monday and mine has stayed open.....
I don't think your Co-op guy wanted the hassle of opening an account.
    Ring them back....;)
