  • well from sounds of it ull be waiting like 6 weeks to get one if you bought one today:P
  • My online account is now showing "being processed" for the 26" sammy.

Hopefully be here by the end of the week.

Ordered on the 31/01, using account facility.

Quidco have also tracked my transaction, so £450 for the sammy is a cracking deal, but some lucky people will have the opportunity to go for 30% starting from 2nd of march once again.

after having £720 debitted from my account on 24/2 and my 32" delivered on monday.....checked my online bank account yesterday they are in the process of taking ANOTHER £720......after ringing them to see whats going on they said its not us,your tv wont be in stock till the 14/3 and we dont take money till then,i said i had the TV on monday and youve taken it once, she sounded very puzzled and went away to talk to a supervisor, then came back and said oh yes,was looking at wrong screen, but we have only taken 1 payment..........so dunno if i have another TV coming maybe,if the money actually goes out i have to send a bank statement to freemans for them to investigate why 2 payments went out, also seeing as they have reserved the £720 it has sent me overdrawn,so i now have a £25 bank charge to try and get back off them too AARRGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I have been waiting! since 5-9th feb!!
  • Just been on the phone to Freemans (bunch of muppets), apparently the tv has been despatched and advised that it would be with me in 9 days.

Before you ask, what carrier they are using i didn't ask because i was a little peeved at the quote for delivery time, but i'm assuming that they are going to be using a flock of carrier pigeons specially trained to deliver lcd tv's, who will require constant rest breaks for eating and pooing.

I was just curious, should i leave a trail of bread crumbs leading to my front door so that they don't get confused and deliver to the wrong address, and after all i'm not heartless, do you think i should also leave a bowl of water out as well?

P.s. Anyone else had their tv's delivered by carrier pigeon?
  • Yes CCFC I know you have, but a lot of people on here ordered on or arrond the 26 / 27 Jan and befor ! but yet they still have not yet received their TV's (I should get mine today and I ordered on the 27th,see prevoius post) so by my reconing if Freemans are fair and they use the que system correctly you should have between 1 week and 2 weeks to wait. Saying that we all can read that Freemans dont do things by the book. So bearing that in mind I wouldnt be suprised if youve got yours already. When you do get it Ihope it lives up to your expectaions, Again from what Ive read Im not sure it will !

My Samsung 32 inch arrived out of the blue today, sending Riley, my Staffordshire bull terrier, (the biggest softie going ), beserk!! just managed to grab and reassure the delivery man before he sped off into the smog.

Being no expert and thinking initialy that the thing was dead on arrival, it is now up and running, all my worries about picture quality over, even the dog seems mesmerised!

All that remains is to profusley thank the original poster and wish that 'The seed of his loins bear endless fruit' as they say in these parts!!

PS Do not bite the hand that feeds you, therefore I forgive you Freemans, long live Sahra Gibbs and all that email her!!
