:rotfl: Yes they will send a telly to your house if you have passed the credit check, i presume you applied for the personal account (50 weeks to pay). Best advice to you phone up cutomer service and cancel
Thanks lol - yeah I did click on the 50 week option, as far as i've seen in this thread, the 30% discount will not apply to the 50 week option? Otherwise i'd be tempted to keep it.

So what will happen then? They've got no financial details as yet, the TV turns up and they expect me to pay how? Do I just wait until they e-mail me asking for my bank details?

I'm kinda confused, I could have put in a false name at this address, but they would still send it without bank/card details, then I could move out the day after?

They will credit check you and if they find all the right things mortgage bank account, credit cards etc and a good rating then it is likely they will open your account and maybe even send the tv. Though i have read through this thread and it is likely your order will be cancelled as they seem to only give you a credit limit of £500 to start with.
Best to phone and check and then cancel

I am pretty sure that the 30% off code is definately not valid for electrical items.

Can anyone please help as to what the model number of the 32" TV is please?

I have ordered one of the 32" TV's and entered the 30% offer code, but not showing up at checkout or confirmation e-mail. I have tried contacting customer services but as I am a new customer the system won't be updated with my details until tomorrow. I will have to wait and see if I got the 30% if not I'll cancell and nothing lost!!

ARRRRGGGHHHH I've ordered the wrong one, I ordered the LE32R41B one, didn't realise there was a freeview one next to it at the same price.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll go and cancel it and order the other one.
  • I can confirm that this worked for me too a couple of days back. The 30% WONT show until you have entered your credit card details.

I always feel dubious about doing this but AFTER entering details there is another page which shows the order summary. This will show the 30% discount and you CONFIRM your order at that point (ie when you know the discount has been applied).

The email confirmation should then reflect the discount. Hope this helps someone.

Look on the discount code forum for the code and instructions (Remember quidco!)
