  • i just ried to order setting up an account, also using the 30% code and it has a small foot note on the order confirmation page saying excludes electricals, is the discount only valid with a credit card payment?

Apparently, the 30% code is for existing customers who haven't ordered for a while.

Where did you get that from?

I'm a freemans customer and i've never been offered 30% off

I did get offered 20% the other week.

I ordered the 32" over the weekend, but using the CC method and after sending an e-mail asking clarification that the discount had been applied and for 30%, (as it did not show up on my confirmation e-mail) I have had a reply that yes I am getting the 32" TV with 30% discount. Only problem is my other half is now questioning if we really need a new TV!!!

That's what they told me when I called them this morning. I told them I got it from a friend of a friend :)

Could someone, anyone please give in detail the process for buying this 32" TV for £630 or less from Freemans, or point out where I'm going wrong.

I am a member of Quidco, not a current Freemans Customer and will be paying by credit/debit card.

    1. Clear Cookies.

    2. Go to Quidco, click on Freemans save 5% link.

    3. Select 32" IDTV model, add to basket, go to checkout.

    4. Quidco discount code is showing in the first box on initial checkout screen, I then enter the 30% Freemans Discount Code.

    5. Click on checkout.

Following the above process, the total still shows as £899.99 when I go to enter my credit card details.

There is also a short paragraph below where the discount Codes should be entered stating that electrical items are excluded.

Has anyone actually used the above process and physically received the TV, and only paid £630?

    Many Thanks in advance folks

Go through quidco as you said and put tele in basket. ENTER CODE (you never mentioned that) There is already a code in 1st box on left but delete that and enter your code. Go all through checkout and once you enter card details it will show £630 and on confirmation screen it will show this plus on confirmation e-mail.

You mentioned you saw quidco discount code? Not sure about that I never noticed it. Are you not mistaking it for the code I said you should delete before replacing with new code???

    Hope this helps you. :D

I replaced the code in the first box (of four) with the 30% code. Pressed update and it changed the price to £630 before the payment screen. Not sure if this is still the case though?

I ordered the 32" on 13/04/06 and am expecting delivery tomorrow. Money taken yesterday and I don't mean allocated, actually taken by Freemans.
