Well that's a load of old rubbish. The 30% Off welcome page clearly states "30% off everything! when you place your first order from Freemans".

Note - no asterixes with a qualifier at the bottom of the page, it's a clear statement - 30% off *everything*.

This even negates the 'except electricals' statement when you get to checkout IMO.

Are discounts shown on online orders?

Any discounts applicable to your order do not currently show on your email confirmation or delivery note. They will however, be displayed on your monthly statement. If you have any questions about your order, please contact Customer Services on 08706 066 099.

So why are people on this thred getting the discount (30%) applied on the confirmation email???

sorry about all these post, but i really want to get the samsung telly with the 30% code.

I am a new customer and ordered the 32" and set up an account (I dont have a credit card) and entered the code at checkout but the discount is not shown on the conf. e-mail. It does state 30% off everything but will have to see - if they don't honour discount I will just cancel the order.

Did you phone up customer service and find out if the discount was applied??? If not phone up now, they never sleep :rotfl: Let us now what happends.

The problem with me is that i cant stop thinking about this bloody tv, i want it so much with the 30% discount :rotfl:

It because the rules are different when you buy using a new freemans account.

I ordered earlier but paid without signing up for a freemans account with my credit card and the 30% discount was applied straight away. So I guess how they work things is different for when you are buying using freemans credit.

If you want it that badly pay for it using a credit card without opening a new account?

I guess sometimes you cant have your cream ... 50 weeks interest free and 30% off. Sorry if this sounded patronising...

Well I ordered on Friday afternoon. Used the welcome page and entered the code. Main page said 30% off everything. Signed up as new customer, ordered the TV and paid by card. Email confirmation didn't show any discount.
