I just ordered the 32" IDTV using the 30% discount code and 5% Quidco cashback. Email confirmation shows £630.00.

Should come to £598.50! :money:

One question, which courier do Freemans use? Cheers. :T

I've been watching this thread for ages and nearly purchased one the other day, but I went to look at it in the shops and unfortunatly I don't like the look of it!!! I know that it's a bargain at that price tho!

I just ended up blowing an extra £300 on the Toshiba 32WLT66

they used amtrak to try and deliver mine

freemans told me they woudl call first but that didn't happen
I was away so have had two failed deliveries weds and thurs

i tried phoning their depot as detailed on card on stupid 08705 number
put in queue to no avail

card states two failed deliveries then they keep for two working days - not sure if they will include Good Friday and Easter Bank hol so my tv may have gone back grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

card says open saturday 7-10 for collection
phone says open 8:30 - 12:00
other half gets to depot a few minutes after ten unfortunately so shut grrrrrrrrr

I just phoned freemans customer service regarding the 30% discount code and the women says that it is only for fashion items.

My friend also ordered online today using the 30% code (he used the personal account, and he did not pay via credit card), and in his email it said:

Thank you for shopping with Freemans.

Your order is being processed and will be despatched to you shortly.
If you have any queries regarding this order please contact us either by
e-mail, quoting your account number or reference number IOC-1622241,

So does this mean you have to pay via credit card to get the discount because using the personal account to pay for the tv, the email confirmation shows the full price (see my above post about my friend).

So where is the discount?????

They have obviously caught on now and restricted the code. This happened with the 25% new customer code and they reduced it to 20%. It does state discount codes do not apply to electricals. Unfortunately you may have missed out. Make sure you phone up and cancel the order saying the discount code didnt work.
Though if you used a cash back site it does seem as though they still pay the cash back. I have just recieved my cash back for a declined transaction!!!!! So i am quids in already. :rotfl:

If mine doesnt turn up or gets cancelled or charged full price i shall make some strong complaints as the transaction was confirmed for £630.

Since the 30% is off new customers only and you already have an account that must be why the discount isnt coming off

I am a new customer, my friend is also a new customer (personal account is where you pay for the tv over 50 weeks 0% interest)

Has anyone else who piad on the personal account (50 week 0% interest) and not via credit card recived the email confirmation stating the £630?
