Well, I have entered Steve's comps and the only emails I've had from him have been as listed on page 1. So, I find your comment out of order, kohsamui.

My email addy is so old that I do get spam (which is filtered by my ISP) but it's gone down in recent weeks so I definitely haven't seen an increase since entering these comps.

We discussed this at length over pm ginjim and I really don't know what else you expect from me.

The only way in which my site has ever been promoted on MSE is in relation to the three competitions that I have run. That is the only way they would ever be mentioned here, I am fully aware and respect MSE's policies.

I have made it clear that I would never send spam e-mails and I totally resent the suggestion that I would sell on e-mail addresses.

I even went so far as giving you details of my work and contact numbers in case you wanted to chat through any of your concerns.

At the end of the day, I have given away an iPod Touch and Wii Fit and am now giving people the opportunity to walk away with a PS3. If you think that is really not what the MSE members want, then go ahead and make your report. I can do no more

i don't really expect anything from you to b honest
and i apologise that i did say that you sold the emails off and i was mistaken
i didnt and don't really know how this pyramid style selling works.
it is a legit competition but the basis around it is also agsinst the rules of mse.
i also said in pms that i wish you the best of luck

and i also said i wouldnt report it

It's against the rules of MSE to give away a games console for answering a question :question:

Joking apart, there is no other "basis around it". It is a simple competition and I haven't and won't ever mention anything esle about the site.
