Looks like they've got themselves into a 'loop', You can click on the 'Here' of post it here and it opens another window, but it's back at the opening page again? How funny.

I've been comping for a few months, and won some lovely prizes (books and cds mainly), but still waiting for that big win!

Are there any ways that I can fine tune my comping?

I usually spend a couple of hours each evening comping, which corresponds to about 150 - 200 comps per day. I never enter any comps for tickets, unless I really want to go, nor for prizes that I don't want or bands that I've never heard of - which is most of them!!

I use the "comp ending" method rather than as they're posted, which means that as I work my way through I miss out on those comps posted after I've done that days. Alternatively if I was to just work my way through the list, I would miss out on those that expire before I get to them. Clearly the best method is a combination, but would take too long. Any suggestions?

I've never entered any of the regular comps but I guess that the chances of winning these are actually higher than the main comps due to the numbers entering, so may start looking at the weekly or monthly ones. Do those people that enter these find that to be the case?

  • dear moderators can u create a thread next to the i won thread thats for people to post info on items they won but dont want., eg runner up prizes are often not what we wanted so if we can say what we won and dont want ( eg a dvd or vouchers ) we could offer to give away the items we dont want.. maybe first to ask, or offer something in exchange for it ...whatever lets just start that thread cheers
write down & number competitions you do & youll see that your lucky if u win even 1 thing in 4000 ! ps if u find an error with a comp tell the site running the comp cheers
  • No they won't, as it's against forum rules to exchange personal info.

And this is in the wrong place. There is a comp discussion thread.
