But, i really wish companies wouldn't send me emails that get my hopes up....only for them to be cruelly dashed....!
I received an email the other day entitled 'Competition Winner', but when I got all excited and opened it, it was just notification that someone else had won a competition that i had entered.
*Sigh*
Yep - me too!!
I get loads of these - my little heart starts to flutter - and then... crashing disappointment!!
I don't care that Mrs Smith-Jones from Surbiton won - I only care that I didn't!!
It does feel like they're rubbing it in sometimes!!
Anyway... onwards & upwards.... :rotfl: :rotfl:The Rock Chick, she say 'courtesy costs nowt' - spread the word!0 -
I have a question that I hope somebody would be able to tell me:
On the Regular Competitions board there are daily and weekly sticky threads.
Why isn't there one for monthly competitions ????
I'm all ears0 -
put this on comps tips as well xx
If u use roboform there is a "Save" button which comes in very handy on alot of comps where the forms need u to move the street name away from door number and put ticks in, for example, female first, marie claire, tiscali, i used this months ago to save the details, and it works without fail, speeds up alot of the comps which need details shifting to right area as roboform will automatically bring the details button up for u to click on.

Logitech prize winners for October Dark Knight comp. I queried why I had not received my prize yet as it seems a long time since this comp ended.
I got a call today from a really nice chap called Ricjard at Logitech to say there had been a elay with the company sending out the prizes and that I should get it in the next couple of weeks.
Just thought folks would like to know if there are others who had a win on this comp.If at first you don't succeed try, try, try again.

One of these has got me every day in December so far! I forget which one, but it's an advent calender one, and when you enter it you get an email back saying:
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
You have sucessfuly entered......
I hate those guys! ha ha.
Another thing I thought of, although I've only had a few, when ever I get a winning e-mail I always seem to get right at the end of the day, like between 4pm and 5pm - is that just coincidence for me or do you find that WEM's always seem to come late in the day? Either way, not long now until that magical hour! ha ha[FONT="]
