And of course no new discussion thread feels like home until you have......

I can't find the ending today thread, are they not done anymore??:p

HURRAH!! Now I really feel like this is a comps discussion thread!!

  • 8 Are there any comps that can be entered regularly?
Regular Competitions is a sub forum of Competitions Time & is where you will find comps that can be entered on a regular basis, monthly, weekly, daily etc. There is a regularly updated thread with Daily Entry comps, which is a sticky thread at the top of the Regular Competitions Forum & maintained by a volunteer MSE Comper.

I have a question relating to the regular comps, as having spent the best past of 2 full days entering the comps ending 30/11 I am now moving on to prepare myself for Advent!!
If we find a comp on the main board that is a daily, or enter as many times as you like, rather than a single entry, what should we do? Reason I say is I have come across a couple this week, and so far I have been posting a reply onthe original thread to point this out to others, and also posted a link to the original thread on the daily competitions thread, but I was wondering if we should also PM a BG to have it moved?? And whether a tip to this should be added to the Comping Guide.

I'm just interested to know what others think. Am I doing the right thing?

Just a quick question, how many people does it need/take to say a comp is working again or not working? surely it only needs one?
approximately 20 regular members taking the pee(me included:o), and 99.5 non regulars been ignorant:rotfl:
    anyway
Frugeller did you all get the email today?
Would a £25 voucher come in useful?

This means that if your name is selected and displayed on our forum, you could be getting £25 to spend with Amazon.

To qualify for a prize, you must claim it within 3 hours of your name appearing and should have posted a new freebie or money saving tip within the previous 24 hours onto our money saving forum
when it was a fiver prize we didnt have those conditions did we:confused:
    to be updated:;)

The previous one was a fiver if you hadn't posted within a certain time or £20 if you had posted on the forum thingy within in 24hrs of being drawn. The claim time was longer before too wasn't it?

This means they are cutting out the non regulars and the continual missing the draw peeps who don't check the site regularly. Helps them more, but not us ;) (unless of course you use the site anyway)

  • Hi guys, not sure if this is the right place to be posting this question.
I'm new to entering comps on here, been using another site for 5 years.

Anyway i registered for the radio station sites coast, essex fm etc as i was hoping it'd make it easier when entering all the comps.
This is driving me nuts & i hope i can explain it properly.

When i click on the links posted it does take me straight to the comp but it requires me to log in despite asking it to save login. After filling in my email address & password it takes me to the 'register' page where nearly all my details are already there.
No matter how many times i fill in the first line of my address & town it never saves it.
So i have to fill in those details everytime i log in on each site & its just taking ages to get through the comps.

I've tried it in IE & FF but my address never saves.... its seriously driving me insane now lol.

Am i the only one this is happening too?
Once you've registered for those sites are they storing your full address & details?

    Thanks :D

Ahh thank you so much, i thought it was either my computer just playing up or that those sites were trying to drive me insane :rotfl:

Registering for the sites hasn't made it any easier or quicker so i think i shall just use autofill instead.

    Thank you :D

Im getting confused about advents xxx
When i posted a couple, i posted on main board and linked them to advent thread so everyone gets to enter, itms.
I didnt stick them on dailies because peeps might dupe with the advent thread.

Is that right or is it meant to be done differently? xxx there seems to be advent all over the place xxxx
