    A Quick Q :)

I've not really ventured too much into the advent thread as I get caught up with other things on here, but I am trying to think of a solution to this.

But roughly how many are question based and how many are click and enter?
  • Well afaik there aren't any there with single entry - they're all daily. For me, I'd say chuck everything in one thread. It will get massive, but it's only for a month, and if people are looking for answers they can either search within thread (ie disney) or just read back over a couple of pages - that way it doesn't annoy the oeople who don't do them - no bumpage ;)

Personally, I've been through them all today, bookmarked the ones I want to do, and any I get stuck with over the coming days, I would just look in the main advent thread for answers. I don't think there's any need for iwanna to keep updating - people are quite capable of reading back a few pages for answers. Well, that's my 2 cents! :rotfl::rotfl:

*edit to answer kipper* most are click and enter, the ones with answers are often of the 'what date is Christmas' type, and the fewer trickier ones would be at the end of the thread as people added them daily

Aaaaw Iwanna, I'm sure everyone appreciates all that you've done so far but surely updating all those with daily answers is too much to ask of anyone!

Having one list of all advents is a good idea but could it not work like most of the dailies - one thread with a list linking to each individual comp where all discussions can take place. Maybe moving the whole lot to the regulars board with a sticky for the list would keep the main board clear.

I agree, seems like the best solution rather than clogging the main board:confused:

there are quite a few with questions I think, I just had a quick look at the list and the first 4 random ones I looked at had questions
Thanks to everyone that posts :T:money:

    Thankoo!

Well my idea would to have an "Advent Thread" But one post would contain links to the comps that just were click and enter and they would be in the Regular Board with an end date (so they can be easily Game Overed) but locked so no chat can go on. 2nd post would contain links to the "question" comps (again in the Regular Board maybe?) and they stay unlocked so the threads can be updated with answers :)

At least that way if duplicates arise its easier to merge too!

I like the Advent List and I think that it should stay

as most of the questions on the advent comps are for one day only could a seperate Advent answer thread not be created and Game Overed the following day ?

I think that Advent comps are different from the daily comps as they offer daily prizes

most of the daily's are daily entry comps for the same prizes one of the reasons that I use my own daily list is because daily prizes are not seperated from daily entries for the same prize

I only ever enter a comp once even if you can enter 31 times in a month! :D
