I went into one branch today and picked up a 'statement' necklace that I'd had my eye on for a while (was £18, now £5.40) and a coin purse for £1.20.

Went into a seperate branch later in the day and they had stacks of lovely stuff so I bought another three necklaces as birthday presents (none of which cost me more than £4) a bando, 2 pairs of knickers, 2 pairs of tights and a belt. The total came to £24. Normally the necklaces alone would have cost in the region of £40!! They were all long ones that usually retail at £12 or £15!

I got items to the value of £111 for £31.
  • If anyone is near Manchester the Trafford Centre was still heaving with sale bargains, I would say about half the shop was still sale stuff! I bought 2 tops at 75% off and would have bought loads more but I was watching my pennies!
    Not much children's stuff though....
  • i ordered thurs and now says despatched on my order so hoping to get early next week.
  • Newcastle upon Tyne store still had plenty of sale stock left. Some really good bargains to be had and the staff are lovely in there, very friendly and helpfull.

I have ordered off the web in the past but have never received my full order and it takes so long for them to deliver. much better using a store if there is a one near you.

  • Does anyone know what Monsoon do with the stock they don't get rid of in the sale?

I am still looking for 2 dresses I missed out on in the sale and they are going for more than I'm prepared to pay on ebay. No doubt they are still in store somewhere in the UK in my size but not in any of the ones I've tried (seen just about every size except mine ) so am wondering of they have outlet type stores that might be worth checking in a few weeks?

There used to be an outlet at Bicester Village - no idea if there still is as I haven't been there for a few years...

What about TKMaxx? Would they take surplus sales stock from Monsoon?

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

The address and phone number are:
