    If hijack wont fix it, then there must be something else controlling it. Deleting that many regsistries isnt wise (Especially when talking about an AV)

  • ok,i reinstalled avg,then used the avg removal tool,and i think its now gone.new ht report below.problem is i still can't open ie or play a cd or dvd.thankyou all very much for all your help anyway.x

    when i put the cd in,nothing happens.end of!!
  • if i knew how to play it using the start,all programmes,run? what do i type in the run box??!!
  • plus,i'm trying to load a nintendo wi fi usb connector disc onto my computer,but as i've said,it won't load.
