If hijack wont fix it, then there must be something else controlling it. Deleting that many regsistries isnt wise (Especially when talking about an AV)

ok,i reinstalled avg,then used the avg removal tool,and i think its now gone.new ht report below.problem is i still can't open ie or play a cd or dvd.thankyou all very much for all your help anyway.x

You have a lot of faith!..i Double check everthing manualy where possible.... get rid of everything to do with AVG and do a fresh install,Their is plenty of info on googe on how to delete AVG in the registry
