A P***** off ex findus employee
Hello philrob, firstly I am sorry you have lost your job.
I didn't 'just wrote it' I posted that 3 months ago. But I stand by everything I posted as fact. The fact is the company you worked for was the licencee and sole distributor of Findus products in the UK, it was not Findus.
Your former employees lost that licence in October 2008, and sadly their achilles heal was the fact they only had the one customer (Findus) and when that customer went elsewhere they had no one to sell product to.Its UK Findus licence is ultimately owned by private equity firm Lion Capital, which last September bought Findus and Young's seafood group Foodvest - the group which licenses the brand throughout Europe.[strike]Debt @ LBM 04/07 £14,804[/strike]01/08 [strike]£10,472[/strike]now debt free:j

Findus is massive in some parts of Europe, presumably this is not great for export numbers, or is in made outside UK?
Is pre made food classed as manufacture?0
