I used to love these pancakes years ago. The cheese one and the chicken curry ... not seen the chicken curry for years though. They also did an apple & sultana one.
However, I did find that the dream was better than the reality. They were really small and hard to cook/fry without them becoming soggy.
Not actually had one for about 30 years though.0 -

yes but we wouldn't have this thread and Sky wouldn't have had their headline0 -
Terrible - given me a really strong urge for a crispy pancake AND a microwave piza!
But I have none.0 -
crispy pancakes will be selling on ebay for £5000 by the end of the week!! lol0

Just put a peice of soggy cardboard in the microwave for 30 seconds. Close your eyes and eat, I bet you won't notice the difference.:D0

Looking into it, it seems it's the company that produces a range of products for Findus. They expect the business will be of interest to others.
They had a fire in the warehouse recently.
So it might not be a credit crunch issue, but a business decision that might have been taken without the current recession.

Weird, really wierd, for the first time in years I had 3 minced beef crispy pancakes for lunch on Saturday! A bit of junk now and again takes me back to long sweaty sessions making music when I was a spotty oik0
