:hello: Hiya! Piggies ... love em, especially Bob's story about sleeping at the back of her neck. I can't match that, but one of my little mogs, who never really grew up, used to crawl along the back of the sofa towards someone's ear, and purr right into it, for 20 minutes at a time. It was lovely :)

    Hi KC

Spooky - I have been writing this post, then lost it, then had to start again....and when I finally get it up (cue ZTD...)....you've already beaten me to it :rotfl:

Hope you're enjoying the nice weather....and pleased to hear that last weekend was productive if emotionally draining. :grouphug::grouphug:

Hope that the week off "shoulds" has helped recharge your batteries......and hugs ref the bored being broke and not doing stuff.........it's diffult to find something to do that breaks the monotony, gives you a real lift and that doesn;t cost money....one year I took a week off for a "holiday from home" and each day went to a local place/beauty spot I'd never visited...is there anywhere round you you haven;t visited yet that's easy/cheap to get to?

Recently I have been taking time out to wander round different garden centres/nurseries looking at all the plants and planning virtual gardens (without buying anything ;))....and visiting the charity shops for a nosey......oops...found a bargainous whittards tea set ....and a Poole pottery coffee service.....which will both make their way onto ebay whe I get round to it :D..Next is antique shops (for valuation purposes ).....

Big hugs to your sis...sorry (but perhaps not surprised) to hear that work can;t do the emotional support and empathy ...but hope that family and friends are sharing the load to provide what she needs at this time without any one person becoming overburdened.....because the rest of you are all grieving too...:grouphug::grouphug:

Client hasn;t confirmed yet but will Pm you with some dates soon to meet up..DFW day out is in order methinks........:j

Ooops....still sitting here in the dressing gown....guineas are wheeking outside.....obviously time to clean them out :rotfl:

Hey wol, cute piggies. I'd love to have another one, we had an adorable little fellow but he got flystrike :( and he never recovered. I felt horrible, I never saw flies around him, he was an indoor piggie but had an outdoor run which he went in most days so was always ever so clean. But I've never dared to get another one after that.

Yours look like such cuties, I'm getting tempted again now :)

Z will take it all in an entirely different direction!

Thanks for the hugs hon . :grouphug::grouphug: right backatcha .... the drain of last weekend was so intense its prompted a real rethink, so has ended up being productive for me too.
Its been good ... and thats also a good idea about the proper holiday-at-home, there must be loads around here I haven't visited. Now that the https://www.traveline.info site is up and running, I should use it for more than just mystery shopping - lots of places in the countryside that I thought were inaccessible are just a bus ride away.
What a good idea :D:D:D There's loads round here... maybe I should try to get out to one of the big ones locally, there's one on an old airfield...
Thanks for *her* hugs too! The lack of support at work is from people on a personal level, that she thought were friends, thats why she's commented to me on it. Support... well, our mum is on the end of a phone whenever she needs, but she's 83 and 300 miles away. Her daughter is living at home, age 24, but is in the middle of something of her own, and can't manage to clear away her own plates that she's been eating from ... there's a few friends of hers on the end of a phone now and again .... and there's me. It really shows me the importance of making and keeping contacts.
Client hasn;t confirmed yet but will Pm you with some dates soon to meet up..DFW day out is in order methinks........:j
:j:j:j And I really want to meet Numpty if/when he comes down again!
Ooops....still sitting here in the dressing gown....guineas are wheeking outside.....obviously time to clean them out :rotfl:

It's always gives you a bit of a start when it's a hard long one and the thing goes down unexpectedly.

But I'm glad you finally managed to get it in.
