**snigger** As Wol says, QED.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
I have finally summoned up the courage and energy and rung the insurance company to chase the final payment they should have made in May which if you remember included the paltry sum of £350 for "stress and inconvenience" (this diary is a godsend, was reading back through it last week and clocked a post I'd made of the conversation regarding the final response, should have received it direct into my bank account but checking my bank statements that have recently arrived, there was no sign...)
Turns out they have paid it into an unknown account for a different bank in Hitchin.. and that this unknown account was logged onto my file in April 2008 :eek:, thankfully we have checked and no payments have ever been made into it....
Despite the fact all payments this year have been made without any problem direct into my bank account with correct details, for some reason their finance department didn;t bother to use their own procedures before making this last payment.....
They say they WILL pay me the money......it's their error..... but can't say how long/when.....
Glad I held off my Ombudsman claim.......
Oh and Numpty - I've also finally rang the bridge people and complained about their work/invoice.....seems like I'm getting a bit of my old feistiness back:T

They'd better put their tin hats on then Wol if you've recouped your feistiness:D
Things are moving on apace in the Horace household, no clients yet but fingers are being poked into pies I have also been given 3 discounted ads in 3 editions of that posh wedding mag, they've allowed me to have them at £87 each plus VAT and have given me another 5% discount:j
Its getting awfully dark here, there have been one or two rumbles of thunder but I think we're in for something big because all the hairs on my arms are standing on end, the wind has picked up and the temperature has dropped:eek:
Must remember to ring you one night - still racing along at a zillion miles an hour:eek:0 -

Hee hee Horace......I am conjuring up images of you, fingers and pies :rotfl::rotfl:
Well done on the haggling......Hope the ads prove successful and yes, please ring......
I have avoided any storms and managed to mow all four lawns (this includes two outside my house that the council are meant to do but don;t )....now back to weeding the overgrown wasteland so the tree surgeons don;t trip over any old hidden tree trunks when they come on thursday......:D

Hey wol, cute piggies. I'd love to have another one, we had an adorable little fellow but he got flystrike
and he never recovered. I felt horrible, I never saw flies around him, he was an indoor piggie but had an outdoor run which he went in most days so was always ever so clean. But I've never dared to get another one after that.
Yours look like such cuties, I'm getting tempted again now
Awww Toto...can understand why you didnt want another...and fly strike for guineas is very unusal (normally bunnies).....espesh as you took such good care of him....:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:
You can be adopted Auntie if you wish.....just choose you guinea......there's at least 4 more to go before the whole "colony" is revealed:D:D
PS Don;t worry about the PM reply Hun...just glad you is OK :kisses3:

Niet....not really...best thing I could have done...............counsellor steered me towards it.....and it took all of one month (plus a so-called friend trying to emotionally blackmail me into trying cocaine when I was visting her as her way of "supporting me") to realise there was serious merit in counsellors observations
Yep, me too.:T:T
Yay :T:T:TJust in the spirit of solidarity and all that!
KC.......will PM you with some ideas/dates tomoz..:kisses3:
Hope you;ve had a good day
