    Gotcha about the "friends"....any friend who thinks cocaine is an answer to my problems is probably going to be an ex-friend PDQ... I'm finally out to watch Star Trek after some paid work this morning, so will be back in the evening, I'll check back then. Hope you have a good one!

    Oh wow Chev...I didn;t realise the Quo did that one but it's a brilliant track I know I don't know when they did it but it was pretty cool

    Glad to read sometime back that you're not an "illegal" :rotfl::rotfl:Not illegal now but they have only given me a year permit, not the 3 years it was meant to be!:mad::mad::mad: So yet more fun with immigration!

    How's you my dear....how's Kiwi land....going into the winter as you must be now?we have been quite lucky so far, a fair amount of sunny weather, so only had to use the tumble dryer once this autumn. My DS1 has tested negative for milk allergy which is a great :T:T:beer::beer::j:j relief, but on the other hand he reacted to something new in some cookies my OH got in the states :confused::eek:, so on the one hand he will be going to food challenge clinic to be introduced to milk under controlled conditions, but on the other hand, it maybe that he has just developed another allergy SIGH.

    Maybe we should stop talking about crispy bits here :o:rotfl:

    Actually I quite like hearing about the weather over there!

    Hugs to you Hun

    So pretty much situation normal really. One step forward and two steps back... The other positive thing is that I am now on one tablet for the depression, and feeling pretty good, so not all bad

    glad to hear that you are feeling a bit more up for the fight!

    I am assuming that the council said yes to the tree people so yay to that as well. You will have to post before and after pictures...

    I don't think you will have any nadgers if Beechie sinks his teeth into them:eek:..why not carry them in a box (the piggies I mean not your nadgers:eek:):rotfl:

    Am going to be out of circulation for a while as on 16 July I am having an op - I only found out about it today:rolleyes: I am also participating in some research so have had to offer up a large syringe of blood today..with other samples being taken from elsewhere on a later date:rolleyes:

    Went shopping for a new watch today - I won't need to buy a new one ever again:eek: Silly shopkeeper though forgot to give me my £100 voucher that they said I could have tor buying something in their shop today:mad: Will have to ring them later as the £100 would be better spent by me:cool: I used £50 of capital bond vouchers towards said new watch as well:D

    so by 30th june 10'000:rotfl::rotfl:

    Bloomin 'eck Shaun - you;ve done it again......such apt subject matter......spooky!
    So perhaps you and the rest of the peeps can help me out with some population dynamics......:cool:

    Found out yesterday that my vet is offering half price summer spayings/castrations....so I need to use this opportunity to reorganise the/pairs and, if your projections are correct Shaun (:cool::p:D) at the same time prevent the feeding of the10,000 :rotfl::rotfl:

    I've been thinking about how to do this all day......currently 8 cages, 5 pairs and 3 singletons. Don;t want to buy more [STRIKE]tribbles[/STRIKE] guineas as they are sociable animals ....well normally..mine do seem to be a bit of an exception :cool:....they should normally be kept in pairs....so need to pair up the singletons and at the same time reduce the number of cages.....

    I currently have 3 single "intact" boys who won't share with other boys and have caused fights etc in the past...Beechie, Bandit and Iroko.... occupying a cage each.

    I also have Bailey and Charlie (both intact boys who currently share but who have a tendancy to fight and may need to be separated in the future)

    The other pairs I have are:
    Grommie and Fleure (spayed) bonded pair will stay together.
    Maple and Willow (brothers) no fighting so will stay together
    Whisp and her friend Ginger (castrated) - now a bonded pair so will stay together
    Muffin and Pebble (unspayed mum and daughter) -

    Beechie and Bandit need castrating (vet recommendation) because both of them are overly agressive to other piggies. However neither of them could be put back in with another male.

    Muffin and Pebble may need spaying in future owing to uterine/ovarian cyst problems - question is do I split them up? They've been together since Pebble was born in Jan 07 and Muffin even helped look after Pebbles litter last year.

    Options
    Spay Muffin and Pebble and put them in as a foursome with Bailey and Charlie
    - doesn;t reduce cage number or provide company for the 3 single boys
    OR
    Castrate Beech and put him in with Muffin
    Spay Pebble and put her in with Iroko - Bandit then gets castrated but lives on his own....(Or I get another girlie for him :D:D:D)
    Sorts out the single boys, reduces cage number by 1 (i.e. less cleaning out, hay, sawdust etc) but does split up Muffin and Pebble...
    OR.. Spay Muffin and Pebble, castrate Beech and Bandit and throw them all in together in a double cage - and hope the nadgering plus female company will mean the two boys will get on better ...risky.......

    Dont know what's best..answers on a postcard please.... :confused::confused::confused::confused:

    Beechie boy may have abcess behind his eye (possible regrowth following what we all thought was successful surgery over a year ago to remove 3 abcesses in his mouth/neck/cheek). However we're not sure so searching to source an antibiotic my previous vets used last year that did work on the other piggies with the same infection. If it doesn;t however, Beechie wil need another operation to remove his eye ....sorry Numpty :(:(

    Also Beechie has very oily sticky fur on his back which is irritating his skin- would appear to be overdose of testosterone.....therefore he needs to be bathed with special (bloomin exepensive!) shampoo.......WEEEKLY...:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:...untill it clears up...plus possible nadgering, see previous post :D

    Last bit of news....my car computer system decided to suddenly die 400 yds from home tonight.:eek:....battery/oil/engine lights etc all came on, fuel guage went to zero, and then it came back on again but now no clock...:confused::confused:...car still starts but worried it will cut out en route to garage......apparently the "instrument cluster" may need replacing.....and the dealer has never heard of this problem before :confused::confused:
    Luckily it;s under warranty :D....so emergency mechanic coming out tomorrow to check roadworthiness before taking it to garage for repair...and I should get replacement car in order to go see KC next week :T
