    Yep - if you don;t ask, they can;t give....and it makes business sense - more cash from you now or settle of £1 token payments each month....especially if most of the outstanding debt is the interest they've wacked on......so might be worth working out if you've paid back enough to date to cover the original debt before the interest charges and point that out to them when you make the offer :D
